This is one of Tampa's hidden gems! I've been coming to this place for YEARS. Everything is always exceptionally fresh and delectable. I love being able to have a healthy option to eat fresh food that is delicious and open late. The mixed meat plate is my favorite as you get salad and meat and rice. It's a wonderful balanced meal and it's absolutely delicious. Every single detail from the way they cook the rice down to the zest of their salad dressing....it's all an art. Their Cajun pasta is to die for. Today I brought my Palestinian father to eat here as he's visiting from NY and he absolutely LOVED IT! They rolled out the red carpet for us tonight. The shrimp were out of this world delicious. They were juicy and flavorful and plump and fried to perfection. They let us sample some delicious options and everything was phenomenal. First class customer service. So much warmth and kindness in this building. Good people serving delicious fresh meals packed with flavor. I can't say enough good things. One of my most favored staples her In this area. Thank you for your delicious food and beautiful energy. I'm a faithful customer and I love bringing new people to convert them as much as I can. yuslimu...
Read moreIt was dumb luck that we found this little gem! We were driving around looking for a place to eat, for lunch, after going to Busch Gardens. We passed by and I quickly looked them up on Google. Just my kind of menu and 4.9 stars had us sold. So happy we turned around!! Cute little family owned restaurant with lovely staff. We ordered the gyro meat platters which came with rice and side salad. OMG!! The BEST gyro meat I've had in YEARS!! The garlic sauce was a nice addition, too. HUGE portion and thought I'd only eat half. Well...just couldn't stop and ate it all! I'm a lemonade freak and chose their fresh mint lemonade. Never had mint in my lemonade, before...was truly tasty and refreshing! We loved it so much, we returned for dinner, around 10pm (they were open til midnight!!). We're from outta town and I so wish we had one of these restaurants close to us. Next time we're in Tampa, I know where we are headed first! Oh...and the homemade baklava...just like mom used to...
Read moreHonestly I usually don’t give one star ratings but this place deserves it. When I called to place my order the girl had a horrible attitude. Then when I show up to pay for it cost $75 for 3 plates, and one plate was wrong. I asked for pita folds and they gave me a wrap. There sauce literally tastes like burnt meat. I didn’t no the sauce would be that bad until I got home. After I bought an extra five containers for six dollars, because they put no sauce on the actual pitas themselves. The meat was so dry we struggled to chew it, and I asked for Sriracha and they told me they put Sriracha in the bag. So when I get home, I find out that it’s actually a generic vinegar based hot sauce that tasted like a knock off version of Frank’s Red Hot, it’s called chefs quality, hot sauce, so they lied about that. This was probably the worst pita I have ever eaten. I honestly would have rather eaten McDonald’s and that’s saying a lot. I will however admit that the French fries...
