Shawarma Asham — Restaurant in Tampa

Disappointed. Thought I found a new spot for chicken shawarma with good ratings. I am 100% willing to update my review but as of my first visit yesterday, they did not make my sandwich wrap the way I asked them to and therefore it was completely disappointing because I went above and beyond in my efforts to make sure they made the sandwich the way that I know I really like it. I was almost through the whole sandwich before I ate my first pickle. I would have happily paid for extra pickle. However, I asked for extra pickle when I placed the order, I wasn't asked or told I needed to pay anything extra - but I would have agreed because I love extra pickles so much - and the person at the counter said okay. And extra garlic sauce too please okay? I would have also paid extra for this if required, but again it was not asked of me to pay extra. So I thought okay cool. Then, I waited outside, they have a pretty lovely spot considering it's in a parking lot, but I thought it was pretty nice, just perhaps not the hour when they are busy, because I was the only one there. When they handed me my order, I asked again, because we as we all know you need to look in your bag or check your order, if you're able to, before leaving the restaurant. But I did not. Why, you ask? Because I told them when I ordered it and I asked him again when I picked my order up. So shame on me, right? But anyway, would revise my review but as of right now it was not a good experience and I did not enjoy my sandwich very much.

Update/Edit: I pulled off the old awful fries and threw them in the garbage. The rest of the food was delicious! Chicken Shawarma wrap cut into pieces with a lot of extra chicken outside the wrap. Served with pickles and other pickled vegetables, a white sauce, and some folded pita pieces with a red colored hot sauce spread inside. I guess they just didn't have any fresh herbs on hand when I visited. What I ate was very good! I left my first impression review (below) because it shouldn't have been that way.

First impression before I ate the food. My first visit. I showed the pic, with the green herbs all over it, that I guessed was the Chicken Shawarma Platter, and asked if that is the Chicken Shawarma Platter. He affirmed, and I said I'd like to get that. The other pic is what I got! I have not eaten it yet except to check the fries for freshness. Not fresh! And I didn't expect fries because they weren't in the pic I showed him. Imagine working hard to make your Bussines successful and your employees come to destroy it that’s what’s happening in this place unfortunately owners are nice people but these kids that are working to take orders claim to be closed at 10:26pm on Friday which they open till 11 to me it feels like these kids don’t wanna do extra work and get off exactly at 11 I called in just now and the kid was like we’re closed I’m like no your open till 11 he’s like ughh didn’t have what he wanted to say ready and was like we’re like done I asked u can’t do nun he said no and this is not the first time this kid says this at this point you guys either make your hours till 10 on weekends or you’ll serve till 11 o’clock at 11 orders should stop by the way this has nothing to do with the owners or the food as they’re very nice and respectful people ,and great food just these kids needs to go or the hours one of the 2 and hope the owners actually make it happen as I literally drove a hour to get there the other day for this kid to tell me...
