Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Tampa

I had the worse service ever and manager didnt even care. As soon as we sat down we were seen by a white female with sores all over her arms and after she took our order it was all wrong. The woman came back with only two cokes and forgot the other two drinks then says oh it wiped off my screen idk what happened. Then we watched her walk around drooling at the mouth then come and brings a melted shake in a child's glass and hands it to my husband then hands my child her shake with dreds ch ok ps on it which we did not order and she proceeds to ask us if we took her 40$.. are u serious so I take the shake that's melted and my concerns to the gentleman who I presume is the manager and he says oh shes new and walks away to get another shake. I asked him not to send her to my table again cause she appeared very high off drugs. Thank god he send a African American woman to help us she brings us our food and low and behold the idiot drug addict put it all in wrong so after we get it situated I watched my family eat almost all there food before I got mine. Manager didnt want to comp us which is fine but I wasnt going to pay for stuff that was included a 4 for 4 means just that. Instead they charges me each item separately. All manager said was I'll give u 4$ off. Smh but with all the extras they added it was over 20$ more then what we ordered. The manager is very blind to the fact that his workers are high off drugs so high that they are walking around asking customers if they took their money something definitely needs to be done about the management and the Caucasian woman with the sores all...

As a local resident and the N Palms store in Tampa being my local store I can say that my family and I love Steak and Shake...until about 2 years ago. Our 2-3 visits a week have widdled down to a staggering once in a while. I can say tonight was the first time in 6 months hoping our previous bad experiences over the past few visits were just a phase of management settlement, while trying to find the best fit. Tonight's visit is proving me wrong on that hope. As we entered, packed as always, we see the same familiar scene. Only 3 people on the floor, tables and floor a mess, been sitting here for 30 minutes and the table next to me still unattended with dishes piled up, as a matter of fact, our waitress is still stacking dishes on that table. As we sit here, right now, and continue to observe, we just got our drinks, other waitstaff are scrabbling just as unorganized. This happens to be the worst I have ever seen any, especially this location, locations cleanliness. Besides the table still full of dishes, and climbing, the condiments containers look as though they have never been cleaned. With some employees hustling, others looking around, some on their phone, our waitress, besides being rude when she got the other tables order wrong, seems to have no idea what's going on. Sad, because she has been here for years and seems to be comfortable. Telling people who got wrong orders that it's ok, she will fix it, just eat that. I truly believe this location needs to seek a complete overhaul on its cleanliness and...

I got to the drive thru at 11:20 and was told they were closed. There were 2 cars ahead of me in line. I had just driven 20 minutes to the restaurant, so I was a bit disappointed. So I asked again what was going on? They told me that they were closed for maintenance until 4:00.

What I don't get is, it was 11:20 and they just decide to close? Not 11:00? Not midnight? I've never heard of a Steak n Shake closing at all, but whatever.

That's not the only weird thing I've had happen at this location. I went to the drive thru one time and there was a note on the speaker where you order that said "please come inside" so I did, and when I did I placed my order after the only person in the store noticed me while he was sweeping the lobby.

He made a comment about how so many people were coming inside instead of going through the drive thru and I told him about the note I saw telling people to come inside. The guy went nuts and started cursing the manager and pacing back and forth and threatening to quit. Apparently whoever was in charge had put the note on the speaker so they didn't have to work the drive thru and made the guy in the lobby have to deal with all of the orders on his own.

So yeah, get your overnight crews straightened out because I've seen way too many issues at this store that I don't see at other...
