Honestly didn't like it that much but if you like cafes you'd probably really enjoy this one. There's lots of different kinds of places to sit, from couches and swings to stools and chairs.
It was pretty full when I went there but to my understanding it's normally a pretty manageable crowd. Lots of tourists as it's walking distance from the hotels.
We had to wait quite a while for our food and drinks. For coffee and a breakfast item I would expect it to be out quicker, but as I said it was a busy day. The coffee was pretty good, you could tell it was that serious gourmet stuff not the cheap stuff, even I could tell the difference and I'm not much of a coffee guy. The acai bowl that I had was really good, the breakfast bagel was also good, but those are things I expect to be grab and go, and as I said we had to wait quite a while for our order.
This is the place to go if you're expecting to sit down and eat, it's not a take it and eat it somewhere else. I would not recommend going here to eat breakfast, there are many more options available close by for a sit down breakfast.
The cafe is not well ventilated. As you're sitting and waiting you can see a smokey fog near the door from the bread smoking on whatever they cook their panini on.
That said their workers are very nice, the food is good if it's your type of cafe food. Expect to pay $20 for a drink and...
ย ย ย Read moreA previous reviewer may have misinterpreted the atmosphere and customer service of the friendly staff with the wait time of a small local business starting to become popular with tourists, locals, etc. (We all know what itโs like on Guam when a new business gets popular!) Obviously, all people are different on the staff, but the one thing they do have in common is that they value the QUALITY of the products they make and they make sure that their food/beverages are not rushed in order to live up to that quality. Rest assured, they have the BEST staff and every single person there cares about their customerโs needs when they are voiced. Itโs easy to jump to conclusions about vibes and morale of working, but donโt we all have to take things one step at a time at work when it gets too crazy? These baristas have never been rude or disrespectful - regardless if thatโs what you felt when you โwalked into the roomโ. If waiting time is an issue, you should check them out in the afternoon when they arenโt as busy!
Food and drinks are amazing! Branding and vibes are amazing! This cafe overall is a 100/100 experience.
Keep in mind that this isnโt a fast food joint or a Starbucks. They are a GOURMET local coffee business that are on the rise and are doing great with what...
ย ย ย Read moreThis place is so slow. I go to this place often because the drinks are great and good quality but usually to get a coffee to go takes about 20 minutes. Sometimes longer. It's got to the stage where if I pull up and see a line, I just leave. Today I went in and was in line for nearly 10 minutes. By the time i got the front the guy serving decided to no longer take orders and so I waited another 10 minutes carrying my baby before giving up and leaving. They could at least have taken my order so that i could have sat down to wait. When i left no one even acknowledged me leaving. The servers don't smile and are not friendly. (Maybe the non stop coffee orders with not enough staff is wearing them down - I don't blame them!) The only one who ever is wears a badeball cap and has a brown bob. In short I've decided that whilst I love the drinks and the food it's really not worth waiting 20 minutes for a coffee and...
