I mean I thought it was good. It's bingsu. It's pretty much shave ice. Like I think it's just shave ice. But only slightly different texture. So maybe not shave ice. But like shave ice. They have a base layer of like frosted... Maybe unfrosted flakes. Which is cool. Adds to it. And they give you condensed milk to add to your liking. Wasn't super sweet, and definitely wasn't as heavy as ice cream. They have shakes that have like ice cream base, but then a top layer of bingsu. You need to give snowberry a try the texture of the ice is very different, its powdery like snow but unlike shaved ice it feels colder and tastes smoother. The snow ice does not melt as quickly and with their offerings of varies toppings it is always a win.The only shaved ice that you can compare it to is Charmy from Taiwan with a different texture. Read moreIt’s like ice cream but very fine shaved ice. It’s light and tons of variety to choose from. We got the chocolate one and it was tasty and tasted more like ice cream than finely shaved ice!
Pro tip: if it’s your birthday, you do get a free snow berry of your choice! Just show them your ID showing proof and you get it no strings attached!
It was a small one but can’t complain for being it free! I wouldn’t buy it if I had to pay for what you get but if it’s experience you’re looking for and not quality or looking for real shaved ice or ice cream go somewhere...
