I usually go to the other local hibachi location and was told “We are too busy to do your pick up order”... mmm ok. Too busy on a Wednesday night? But responded by saying “okay... I was looking for a reason to try the new place”.
I was impressed. The food is really good! Very healthy portion and cheaper than the other place. A little less traditional but the flavor was there. It took 15-20 minutes which gave me the perfect amount of time to go into the nearby stores and deal with errands. They make it however you like... my hubs does not eat veggies, not in anything, and they were happy to accommodate.
We had the hibachi combos. Steak and chx and steak and shrimp. Shrimp was big and plump. Very nice and steak was in nice big chunks. I ordered it medium but it was a little more cooked than I would have liked but sometimes steak is “tough” lol. 😁 The Hibachi meals come with rice and veggies. Both were yummy. We also ordered a full udon noodle order with steak. Also very good. Service was great. I will definitely come back. Literary Japanese fast food...
Read moreGreat food and service. I always get the chicken teriyaki. This is an express restaurant that does take out they do not cook in front of you. They have a few small tables if you want to sit to eat. The menu items are fresh and delicious, if you are looking for something that is greasy and heavy then this is not your place! They have their own style and flavor which i love and go once a week 😁Every dish is consistent so you know what to expect nothing is ever over or under cooked. For me those are the most important things! I know what to order every time I call . For people commentingon the owners swiftness on the phone....she knows what I want no need to clarify and keeps it quick and to the point. This is common to make things move smoothly in express restaurants. Everyone has their favorite restaurants based on what it is they are looking for. I want something tasty, fresh, and affordable and this place checks off...
Read moreWe ordered the Crab Rangoon and the Japanese Soba Noodles. The cashier listed all the veggies added to the noodles to make sure we were OK with them being added to the noodles, unusual, but I'll take it! We tried to order off the sushi menu, but she informed us they couldn't take the avocado off the rainbow roll. She then told us it was on top(not usually where its located), then when we asked if she could just not put it on top, she back tracked and said it was inside. She then tried to hand us a menu and said maybe we would like to order something else off the sushi menu. Honestly, if they can't modify any of their rolls, I doubt how "fresh" their sushi is to begin with. Probably won't be back, even if the hot items...
