Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Tarpon Springs

Been coming here for a couple years, absolutely LOVE the mango, pineapple smoothie. Since May 2023, there are BIG changes to the customer service, maybe new ownership? June 2023 I was treated so poorly, and spoken to SO rudely, I may have even gotten an eye roll when I asked for an immune booster LOL… I said I’d never be back. Sept 2023, my mom wants to try it, we go back. I walk in, 3 separate people look at me and all ignore me and go back to what they’re doing. No one is in line. 1 table has people eating. The same woman who was extremely rude to me the last time, kept her back to me and ignored me completely. I sat there for a solid 2 minutes without anyone saying anything to me, smiling at me, signaling “one second” lol.. I mean NOTHING! … i walked out. Calmly and collectively. :) I’m done with this place. I’ll take my money...

I went in to pick up lunch today, 12/29. I walked into a completely empty store with two workers (one at the front counter preparing a smoothie and one just inside the back room still visible). When I entered, I said hello to them. No acknowledgement, no response, no hello. The woman at the front counter turned her back to me. The young girl came out of the back with a meal, put it on the counter, turned and walked back into the back. Still no greeting or acknowledgement and still no other customers in the store. After another few minutes of waiting, I walked out and won't be back. If they can't be bothered to even acknowledge a customer, I can't be bothered to spend my hard earned...

Decided to try the new place close to the house. I Ordered a chia banana smoothie (which i get by work all the time) and let me tell you very disappointed. First off the ones working acted like they hard better things to do. So much disorder. Now lets talk about the shake. 1st one they made tasted like water. Very runny and overflowed everywhere. The second one granted is thicker but still something is off. I left after that. Sadly there goes 8 dollars wasted. I will never go back to this place or recommend it. I wished i had stopped by my usual tropical smoothie place cause there i wouldnt be disappointed and i would have had a delicious...
