We found the dinner and sunset tour online as we were looking for something to do on our last night in FL The tickets we picked up were three distinct parts, one for the dinner (which covers everything but the tip), one part that can be used for a discount shopping in the store, and one part is the ticket for the cruise. We had to ask for our tickets back as the waitress took the whole ticket after taking our orders for dinner...then we didn't get the discount portion back, just the cruise tickets (which was fine as we wouldn't have time to do any shopping anyway)...a little confused but the service was good overall. We ordered the Dolmades as appetizers, the Mrs ordered the Keftedes, and I ordered the Gyro Platter. This was our first taste of the Keftedes and Dolmades dishes....they were both full of flavor and delicious! The Gyro Platter Beef/Lamb seemed a bit overdone but the flavors were still very good. The Sunset Cruise portion of the evening was outstanding as the Captain and his Deckhand did an amazing job of narration and finding us all dolphins to enjoy watching swimming near the boat during and after the island drop-off. As a side note we got to observe a couple of ol Greek boys have a somewhat heated discussion as we ended our dining portion of the evening....cooler heads prevailed and the two, I believe, old friends shook hands and parted ways. Overall a good time!

I am not a fan of Greek food typically, and have tried octopus once before with less than stellar results... Acropolis changed both opinions for me! The atmosphere was cozy and wonderfully themed, and we were greeted with smiles and friendly conversation. We learned it's a family run business and every employee there took great pride in being helpful and service oriented. Andrew wasn't even our server, but checked routinely on us and we ended up having a delightful conversation with him after our dinner wrapped up. Now onto the food. The octopus, omg! It was delicious, tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. It was so good, that I am afraid to try it elsewhere because I might have found the best in the US right here! They had a lunch special that allowed me some spanakopita that was flaky and creamy and just delightful. The kabobs my table mates ordered were also quite good. We had some drinks and a couple of appetizers as well. It was a great experience and I am so glad to have given this genre of food a second chance. Just be prepared to be spoiled.

This was the worst dinning experience that me, my girlfriend, and my girlfriend’s sister have ever experienced. The server we had didn’t care about any of her tables other than the one big group she had(there were only five tables being used at the time and one server in the restaurant). We completely understand that sometimes people have rough nights, but any time she worked with this group she was very personal and caring. However, when it came to any other table including our own, our conversations were short and never personal (FYI: I can’t say the servers name because she never told us her name). We finally got asked what we wanted to drink after sitting down for more than 15 minuets after watching her run around taking care of the one big table. When it came to our appetizer, the saganaki wasn’t brought out until 45 minuets after being ordered!! When the server came out with it, she said, and I quote, “here’s your bread here’s your cheese opa”, and proceeded to run off to the big table again. The saganaki was over cooked and couldn’t be easily torn apart like it should. When it came to the entrees, they weren’t the best either. I had ordered a gyro with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. The server then told me that they don’t have shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Now I’m no expert, but you can literally take a knife and dice up a tomato and presto, you have diced tomatoes. And the kicker was the fact that she said they didn’t have shredded lettuce and she had given me a salad with shredded lettuce (see picture below). I had to take off the lettuce and tomato because the gyro was falling apart and the lettuces was a entire leaf of lettuce, making basically impossible to enjoy. The gyro was also smothered in Tzatziki sauce, so it was basically an overall mess. Overall, the food didn’t taste bad, the majority of our issue was with the server and the minimalist effort she gave to us and the other tables around us while we watched the one big table be given the most amazing service. To conclude, we will never come back to this establishment when we are back in Tarpon.

Hate to give a suboptimal review to a Tarpon Springs headliner but we were sorely disappointed with the food and the experience. While the server was anxious to take our order when we first arrived, we took a couple of minutes to look over the menu and then we had to chase him down so that we could place the order . My Greek octopus was pretty good. Our Greek salads were D- grade. Seemed like coarse unrinsed lettuce from a bag, with really crappy tomatoes and no cucumbers. My wife's Greek chicken platter had dry overcooked meat, clumps of dry rice, and looked like something too horrible to describe further here. It was big though. I sort of loved the green beans but my wife did not as they were stringy and some of them still had the ends on them and stems. We had to go up to the bar and ask for more water since nobody came by after the plates were delivered. The atmosphere was a bit compromised because the wait staff just seemed to be hanging out behind the bar, having some internal discussions and then there was some lady apparently working in the facility next door that kept coming in and out through the back door and talking loudly on her cell phone.

Decent food , great ambience we had a great time with our friends !! I had the lamb and steak gyro (we loved), my husband had the Fried grouper sandwich (it was okay), my daughter had the pasta with fried onion and she didn't like it. But our server was so nice! She happily took it back and got her a mac n cheese 👍 . She was Very accomodating and even took the time to offer some sort of sauce option because this particular pasta came without sauce and tons of onions on top. FYI if you book the boat ride and dine with them theh give you a 10% discount. We also enjoyed the live greek music. They have a gift shop in the back and we also did their sunset boat ride. We had a great time overall with their whole experience. The boat ride was super fun!!! The ride, the trip to the island. Music in the ocean felt like a 2 hr party 🥳🥳. Everyone were such great host !!!

Authentic food and the hospitality was great, everyone that worked there was nice and the bartender was having a great time singing dancing and greeting us as well. The seating was great and they offer outdoor seating out back and out front. My Gyro was excellent it take like More😉😉
