Miracle's Homemade Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Taylor

We went there yesterday in the hopes of getting some nice snacks, but we were greeted with a nasty attitude not to mention the inability to utilize the restroom. I am pregnant and had to really go potty number 1, and even though I almost begged, the lady there wouldn’t let me in the restroom arguing that they were out of order, even though they really weren’t. I get it, because of COVID they have to be extra cautious, but in accordance to the laws and regulations of Texas, any establishment that serves food and allows people to sit in to consume their foods should have these type of accommodations to the public. Long story short, I ended up having to go to another store where they had no problem letting me use the facilities. I was very disappointed because we visit this place often and since it’s a small local business, we try to support them as much as possible. For the last 2 tines we been there. Once we order the aguas frescas de fruta. And it was very slamy obiously the aguas frescas was bad. Then we told the girl about it and she gave us instead the feesa aguas frescas and the same very slamy. Idk how old was that drink but obviously it wasnt fresca. Also i ordered the white corn in the cup and it was very dried and it was old. We went in a Monday so my guess is that they were selling what they had left from the weekend, since they are closed on Tuesdays. We understand the influation, but they hace rise the prices so yhis was very dissapointing. I will leave out the other bad experinces out. There is absolutely nothing negative I can think of. I love Blue Bell Ice Cream but I love Miracle's Homemade Ice Cream A WHOLE LOT MORE! I am slowly working my way down the menu. So far all the ice cream flavors I've tried were phenomenal. The horchata wasn't too strong nor too watery, it was PERFECT. The strawberries and cream was amazing. I haven't tried any of the hot items but I will soon. This place is worth trying out. The family who owns/operate the shop are nice and welcoming.
