A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Taylorsville

I'm hesitant to give even one star, but at least my order was correct. Two people were ahead of me, and it took 5 minutes for the employees to even start the first of those three orders. Instead, the manager didn't appear to care that he had customers in his store, and kept them talking in a small group near the front counter. The only person who appeared to be doing any work at all was the cashier who took my order and then went back to work on the food while the other four employees stood around doing nothing. Two off the clock employees were eating at one of the tables, and they routinely distracted the other employees with gossip or requesting free services while paying customers were ignored. After my cashier left to work on the food, no one was watching the front counter at all, and two new customers were ignored for several minutes as the other employees walked around without even offering greeting. It wasn't until the same cashier from before returned to the front that they received any service. Through all of this, the manager ignored the customers and offered no directions to his staff, except for speaking casually to the off the clock employees sitting in the dining area. This is a nice location that has been remodeled and looks pretty close to new. The two employees I interacted with were friendly. The cheeseburger I ordered was pretty basic tasting and nothing to write home about. The strawberry shake I had however was really good. If I were to change anything, I would just make it less sweet. The only issue I really noticed during my visit was that the Men's restroom was a bit dirty. The toilet looks like it hasn't been scrubbed or cleaned in awhile. Other than that, the rest of the restaurant was nice and clean. I was also digging the 80s playlist of songs they had going over the speakers. Glad...

Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time! The girl who helped me through drive through had the worst attitude! Probably should find another job if you don't know how to kindly interact with your customers! Not only that.. They then proceeded to tell me the wait for my order would be approximately 8 minutes (for original chicken) we sat in the line for 15 minutes prior to placing order, then another 10 on that after it was placed. The service was so slow on top of the terrible customer service. Made an awful experience for YOUR customer.. with out us, you have no job! Will not be returning to...
