Edit After I posted the below review, the owner of this location contacted me to invite me back for an improved experience. I accepted and my daughter and I had a much better experience. However, the employees knew who I was and I thought they may just be on their best behavior. My order this time was also much simpler so I decided to wait to update my review.
Today, my daughter and I were out running errands so we stopped by for lunch. As part of my order, I asked for one of their vanilla cold brewed coffees but with less syrup (the regular is too sweet for my taste). My cashier, Maria, wasn't sure how to communicate this to the person that would be making this drink so she asked someone for help in ringing it up and then walked over to them to clarify the order. This resulted in my receiving exactly what I asked for!
I really appreciated Maria taking the time to ensure my order was correct. That coffee made all the difference in my day that had otherwise been a frustrating one. Each employee that I came in contact with this time was helpful, especially the gentleman working in the dining room. He helped me clear our table, offered us some mints, and was ok with us taking more than a couple (Chick-fil-A mints are the best!).
I would absolutely recommend this location to others in the future. Overall my experiences here have been great and the food has always been delicious.
Original review - First off, I would like to preface my review by saying I have visited this location many times for breakfast and have never had an experience that was less than stellar prior to today.
This evening I decided to stop by to pick up dinner for my family. The drive thru was packed so I opted to go inside hoping the wait would be a little less. Inside was a little busy, but not nearly as busy as outside. We did have to wait for our order, but we were compensated by having very fresh food so we were fine with the wait.
My daughter had originally just wanted to share a meal but after I had received (most of) our order, changed her mind so I got back in line to order her food. The wait was again reasonable for the freshness of what we received.
What made this experience feel far below what I have come to expect from Chick-fil-A in general, was our drinks order. I decided to try the promotional white peach lemonade iced tea (which I will add is a little too sweet for my taste, but to each their own). After placing our first order (1 sandwich combo meal, small fries, tea, and a salad) I received only the drink that came with our combo meal. I figured the tea would come with the rest of the food.....it didn't. I questioned the gentleman that gave me my order and he indicated that someone else was supposed to make it so I waited a few more minutes.
It was at this point that my daughter changed her mind so I got back in line. While waiting, I noticed that the gentleman I had spoken to about my missing drink was (presumably) on break as he was sitting at a table with headphones and watching something on his phone. I thought perhaps he had told someone else about my missing drink and maybe they needed to get some missing component from the back.
I get back up to the counter and order my daughter's kids meal and receive her drink. Thankfully, the woman I originally ordered from was available so I questioned her about my drink. Nobody behind the counter was aware I hadn't received it yet. She corrected the issue and I left with what I had paid for, but I was disappointed that I had to ask numerous times and that my missing drink was not corrected by the first person I had spoken to. At the very least, I felt like it should've been communicated by them to someone else so the issue could...
Read moreTLDR: Singing customer service, great food (as always), and speedy delivery of delicious chicken.
Customer service: The staff were all happy, too the point of some members - about 3 or so - finding as they prepared food. Some signs included "Hey Jude" and a couple others I'm familiar with but can't now recall. They were happy, cheerful, and enjoying their time. It was great - Although I suspect their performance was just one of those "in the now" experiences, and not an occurrence 24/7 (except Sundays). So don't expect to be serenaded by classic and modern singles while relishing in really remarkable chicken.
Food: I ordered the #1 "Deluxe" chicken sandwich meal. It was about$8 for the meal. "Deluxe" meant that the sandwich came with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Because it was the meal, it came with waffle fries and a fountain drink.
Right from the box, the sandwich looked like commercial-graade food. It was stacked straight (not haphazardly slapped together), the lettuce looked perfect, tasted crisp, and the tomato slices were juicy without making the sandwich soggy. The breaded chicken was crisp, warm, and juicy; and the cheese tasted nice and cheesy (not plastic or fake, like we receive at unnamed lower quality fast food chains [I'm looking at you, Ron]). It was delectable.
Well worth every penny, and second, whether dining in or taking out. Hope this...
Read moreThe chicken nuggets are fantastic, ditto for the.. sandwiches, southwest salad, the frosted lemonade, the soup and of course the Chick-fil-A sauce, really most of their sauces are great. Here's my only MAJOR, mind blowing irritation about the place. I don't know if it's just this particular store location or all of them. But here I go: I've bought a good number ( 30+ nugget & 10 to 20 strips) platters. A small one is about 60-65 nuggets and a medium is roughly double that amount. You used to get 1 - 8 oz (I think it's 8 ounces but not positive) a medium sized nugget platter having double the chicken & at one time double the sauces. Totally makes sense. That being said.. a while back, they changed things up and made it so you only get one jar for the medium platter now as well. I was totally annoyed and now must ask for an additional 10+ more plus the couple of their other great dipping sauces that my fan asks for. It just seems a bit odd . Other than that I and my family loves the place and we go almost weekly. 👍👍 For a limited time I guess.. they have a "cherry frosted lemonade". Sooooooo good! I love the regular frosted lemonade but this gets edged out. One last thing that I'm noticing in more and more fast food joints. They've started serving their fries WITHOUT SALT!! I'm sorry but...
