On Saturday January 11th 2020 at 5pm my friend and I went to New Seoul Galbi in Temecula. We were greeted by a waiter who showed us to the table. We looked at the menu and all we wanted was 2 plates-one squid and one beef. I was not eating but my friend was looking forward to a Korean meal. She had lived for many years in Korea and spoke Korean. When our waiter returned we asked him for these two items for BBQ. He placed our order and all went well, food seemed good. We only had one issue was that they failed to re-clean the grill once it became in need of cleaning. But no problem, they were busy, it happened. We never ordered or asked for more food, my friend was more than happy with the items. All that was left was ½ hamburger size portion of beef. We asked another worker for the bill and a Togo container. He returned mean and in a loud voice said you know it’s wrong to ask for a Togo box on all you can eat and threw a small box and bill at us. Did we order all you can eat? Well the menu they gave us did not clearly state this and no one advised us of this. And why did he have to be so rude trying to embarrass us in front the other people in the restaurant. A simple question if it’s against policy a simple no would be fine. Once again it is what it is, we felt bad and we wished the menu was clearer for us. We didn’t say anything on that point. Next the bill was $62.73, when I gave him the credit card he returned it in a very mean and angry way. I was about to sign the card tip etc. But we noticed the total was $92.73. We asked another worker for a copy of the original bill he said he would send a supervisor to us. The supervisor returned he was the same angry man we explained. He returned and threw the copy at us and said “Do the calculation!!!” like we were stupid and in error. After looking at the unreadable line items the total was $62.73 for sure. We asked him to come back, he returned and we told him he was in error. He took the bill back and was beyond mad. When he returned with corrected bill I asked for the owner. He said “I am, it’s a family business.” So far he didn’t apologize at all and acted rudely. We got upset at his attitude. Finally he asked how we could improve even in a mean way. We answered firstly an apology would have been nice, 2nd we wish the menu was clearer. He then said he was sorry still in mean and sarcastic way. He had no regret and we couldn’t understand how he can be so mean, but he then said “what do you want me to do, go on my hands and knees?” He then addressed the menu. We showed him the menu we had and it turned out he had a different menu. He then asked us for the server we did not want him involved, but the server overheard and told him he served us. Then he past his anger to the server and forced him to apologize. The supervisor / part owner then accused us of saying he was trying to steal the $30. At this point I said stop and please keep the Togo food and then we left. Because we realized this guy cannot be reasonable. We have visit in many restaurants all over the world. This was the most hateful experience we have ever had anywhere. This man who claims he is the owner should not treat others...

I came in here for dinner with my girlfriend Saturday midday we waited about 30 to 45 minutes to be seated once we were seated they brought us all the sauces and rice asked me what meats I would like I informed them my girlfriend is a vegetarian she will not be getting all you can eat she wanted to order a specific item off the menu. (We've done this before and it wasn't a problem). Once we put the order in the waiter comes back and says I'm sorry the only way for her to order that whhich was I don't know 12$ or something. If you pay 25$ He said the owner said the only way you guys can get the order is if you pay for all you can eat so I'd have to pay for two all you can eats 25$ EACH. The owner is very greedy and unprofessional they're logic for this was because they have other customers that are going to get the all-you-can-eat so if we get a table everyone at the table has to get all you can eat. I asked the waiter if I could talk to the owner to negotiate I wasn't opposed to paying a surplus I thought double the cost of the meal I was trying to get was a little much right?? The waiter proceeds to come back to me and tell me I'm sorry the owner says there's no negotiating that's how it's going to be. The owner wasn't even professional enough to come talk to me to my face and let me know and explain himself he had to hide behind the waiter we decided to get up and leave after waiting 45 minutes to be seated I would absolutely not recommend going there as you can see by the countless reviews the place is very unprofessional and if I'm being quite honest dirty the second I sat down in the booth I could feel Grease that's why I would absolutely never recommend coming here, by far the most unprofessional experience I've ever had at...
Read moreThis is the far worse Korean BBQ place we have ever been. For your quick view regarding our experience, I have number our experience moments ago.
1). Waited 10min before seating (not bad during busy day/hour) 2). Looking at the menu there's very minimal selection of meat from different deals 3). We picked "B" while server handout condiments. 4). Owner mentioned, "the rice will be ten min wait." Paying no mind, we said ok. 5). Ordered three types of meat first but, only two was given. Thinking other server will bring the remaining item. Waited 30min n had to yell to get the servers attention. 6). An hour after, still no rice while other table is being serve without asking. 7). Finally got the owner's attention and mentioned the rice. 8). Our vent doesn't work and owner tap it with his hand. Still didn't work and left. Me and my son had to move closer to the edge to avoid the smoke 9). Tried to get other servers attention since our condiments run out n we had no more meat to cook (servers see our grill empty) no response 10). After being ignore for two hours, we decided to leave and ask the woman owner if their establishment has a customer preference. She said no and "you're not my table." 11). Found out our server left n no one has taken over. Overall, I advise you or anyone not to eat at this place! However, if you like disappointment, not getting your money worth, and have terrible customer service; Do proceed and enjoy the most horrible experience ever!
