I am very reticent to post a less than stellar review; however, due to the incredibly poor service I feel compelled to share.
I needed donuts for a small gathering. Having never visited a Bosa Donut, I looked at reviews for this location (which is the most convenient for me), noting a number of "out of stock" or "limited supply" comments. To avoid that kind of issue, I stopped the day before I needed donuts, placed an order for the next morning, agreed on a time for pickup, and prepaid.
The following morning I arrived 5 minutes after the agreed upon time. My donuts were not ready, and in actuality the crew seemed unaware that I had placed an order the prior day, did not have a copy of my order, and had to use my reciept to fullfil it. The confusion behind the counter with the 3 to 4 staff made me concerned; so, as the boxes were brought to the register and taped closed, I asked for a confirmation as to what donuts and quantity were in each box. I was the only person being served, yet it took an inordinately long time to fill 4 dozen donuts consisting of only 3 types.
After arriving at my meeting, I unboxed the donuts finding 2 of the boxes had smashed items, and that I was missing an entire box of donuts holes, even though the register staff person confirmed my order.
I do not know what other Bosa Donuts are like; however, I absolutely can not recommend this location and, regardless of convenience, will go out of my way to frequent other pastry...
Read moreThey never heat the croissant enough all the way through, so some parts are always still cold. As a result, I began kindly asking them to just add a couple more seconds to the microwave. There is a particular worker there who completely ignored my request, and I had to walk back in because it was cold in parts and asked them to re-warm it up again, almost late for work. No apologies and or acknowledgement of her horrible customer service and attitude. I went to the drive through today, and she was working the window. I ordered my croissant, and she advised the others of what i ordered. Then i kindly requested to heat it up for longer, and she just ignored that and did not turn her head to tell her staff that part. At that point, that was the second time this particular employee was disrespectful and ignoring me, as the customer’s request. When I advised her of this she just kept repeating “yeah ok” in a sarcastic tone. I asked for her name (which they did not provide) because I requested to speak to the manager about her unacceptable behavior. They said he wasn’t on duty and gave me no alternate way to contact him. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a bosa shop. This needs to be reported to higher authority over this particular location’s employees. Absolutely...
Read moreIt pains me to write this review because I used to love Bosa. The service here is usually better than other locations so I don't want to leave 1 star, but I wish I could leave a review for the entire company because the prices are unreal. So expensive it's laughable. If the quality were above other places then it could justify prices higher than even Starbucks or other notably expensive chains, but it's literally lower quality than a lot of the cheap food around town and most of the locations nearby are pretty run down.
$7+ for their boba and milk tea? Give me a break. It's $4.75 at The Street for the same amount and the quality is leagues higher. I can get a sandwich for the same price at Z-Cafe and have fresh avocado, spring mix, and more meat with fruit and a pickle!
It sucks because the Bosa Donuts food actually does taste good! It used to be one of my regular spots. But I don't want to be price gouged when I want something cheap and easy. I guess I shouldn't be surprised I rarely see people in the drive thru at Bosa nowadays.
The only thing still worth getting until recently was the donuts, but even those prices are creeping up uncomfortably high with the quality decreasing and often...
