So me and 3 friends decided to check out the store on McClintock and Southern after hearing from a friend that it was a pretty cool store. We all absolutely loved the store! Then what started as a good experience quickly turned to a horribly embarrassing experience. Really sucks because like I said before, we totally loved the store! I couldnt believe it but I literally had an employee come and ask me if I needed help because I had been in the store way too long😳... this for sure was a the first time I have ever been treated like this at a store that im spending my money at. I truly was lost for words and didnt even know what to say to the guy other than that this is the first time I had been in and was looking around.. didn't know I was given a time limit when I walked thru the door especially because I purchased a bed frame, some lighting fixtures, gardening tools and supplies... smh we were going to return it all but realized it would just be petty to do so. Just hope this employee doesn't ruin anyone else's day or shopping with his rude...
Read moreI hope this is not a duplicate as I posted a review yesterday, 10/13/21 This is a funding source for their important community social services. The store is specialized but slightly similar to Thrift stores. As with some of the other Thrift stores they help fund significant missions. Each store is unique depending upon donations. New, used and surplus goods are offered. I attempted to call the 623 number and was prompted to leave my phone number, I then used the option of transferring phone call to Tempe location who also asked for a phone number for call back. My question was to find out if they have technicians check to see if a product actually is in working condition? Salvation Army does and a church based Thrift store on Main St Tempe do. The giant Thrift chain does not. This location and it's former local location have a large variety of some appliances, kitchen equipment, doors, windows, and a lot more. It is well worth one or...
Read moreI bought a microwave from Restore in Tempe on November 24, 2023. I paid handyman $80 to install over stove. Imagine my disappointment when two of the numbers don't work, the downlight does not work, the clock does not work AND the Power Level button does not work. Being a first time buyer at Restore, I asked the sales clerk if they checked them and he reassured me that they thoroughly check them out. I called the store, stopped in, and wrote a letter. Nothing happened. I love the mission of Restore; just not the product or follow-up from the microwave that I purchased. When people come to my house and see my defective microwave (I have covered the numbers that don't work so I don't press them), I tell them about my experience and where I bought this defective microwave. I cannot buy another one and pay another handyman to remove the defective one and replace with another one. Not a...
