Iâve ordered my daughterâs birthday cake there 3 years in a row. 1st year they misspelled her name and it was not noticed until I took the cake out of the box when it was time to sing. Last year I ordered the cake weeks in advance. Pick it up and drive to Kiwanis park. In that 4 mile drive the cake completely melted all over the back of my suv (it was November). I offered to show the manager pics of it melted. I was beyond furious, my daughter had soup instead of cake and I had to go get it professionally cleaned so it didnât smell like sour milk. They did refund me, however, the person that did the refund the following day seemed extremely irritated as if I made the cake an hour prior and expected soft serve to last more than 10 mins. This past Friday, 11/22/10, I picked up her cake. I ordered an Oreo blizzard cake. The cake ended up being vanilla ice cream with an insane amount of crunchie chocolate cookie (more than actual ice cream) and fudge in the middle. I did not order a vanilla cake nor did I order fudge. I placed the order at the counter about 2 weeks prior and I had to ask the young girl taking the order numerous times to actually write down the words Oreo blizzard cake. I called the day prior to make sure it was made because I didnât want a repeat from the year before, melted. He said yes and I even said âitâs an Oreo blizzard cake, correct?â Kid on the phone was very polite and said yes itâs a blizzard cake. It was not. I guess bright side- it wasnât melted and her name was spelled correctly. I will not be purchasing a cake ever again, theyâve lost my business. $44 for a cake that was not what I ordered is ridiculous. I still have some cake, Iâll try to post a photo of the proportion of cookie vs ice cream. Youâll either laugh or cry...
Read moreI want to give it two stars due to the product being tasty, but I don't think I can today. Male took my order of M&M blizzard at the drive thru and told me he'd have my total at the window. I pulled around and waited (at least) 4 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me and/or open the window. I did not see anyone in the back, and after about 4 minutes gave a tiny honk to see if I was forgotten; however, no one came. (Keep in mind no cars in the parking lot and no other cars in the drive thru suggests it was not busy). Finally, the male took my money but had not yet made my item. I waited several more minutes for a girl to make it and as I began to drive away with it, noticed it was the wrong order. Still in the drive thru and a car now behind me, I parked and let them know of the error. In the meantime, the current car said they didn't have their order correct either. The guy in their car had to walk back around to the menu to confirm what he ordered, as the staff couldn't figure it out. At this point, the staff acknowledged me but couldn't clarify if they'd remake the original I ordered. I stood in the heat for a while to let the new car finish explaining their (also one item) order, and then asked again, and the girl had to get her manager's permission. Finally, I received the corrected order and the car behind me was still waiting at the window for theirs. --An extremely long time for one blizzard. This is a new location, so perhaps things will improve, and I'm hoping this...
Read moreI placed an online order at 9:20 pm for 4 items. They said it should be ready by 9:32. Sent my brother to the restaurant to pick up the food, but the drive thru line was busy so he went inside. The guy at the register said that he was making our order and that it should be done in a few minutes. No problem, my brother sat down to wait for the order. During that time, people kept coming in and ordering and getting their food before he got ours. When he asked the guy, the guy said that he was still working on it. My brother asked to speak to the manager and she said that it was policy to help the customers coming in first before the online orders. If that's the case, why take online orders in the first place? He said to forget the order and to reimburse him and she said she couldn't do that. After some arguing he took the food and left. We live 1.1 miles away (according to Google maps) and it took 45 min from the time I placed the order until he came back home. Then one of our banana splits had a rotten banana that we had to cut off in order to eat it. We will never go back...
