I have ordered from this location several times and they are always faster, friendlier, and more delicious than expected! I usually order online and everything has always been 100% correct and always fresh. The delivery drivers are pleasant and provide a great experience, so I am sure the employees in store do nothing less!
UPDATE: Wanted to order from this awesome location on a rainy day today. A day when I am also unable to drive or barely even walk. Placed my order online and paid. Immediately received a call from an employee that was very difficult to understand. They explained something about the driver not being able to come all the way to my apartment and that he would need to call me from the leasing office of my complex and have me come out to get the pizza, or something along those lines.
I said okay, but then thought about it and called back to cancel. The employee tried to explain again what he meant but I still couldn't understand, all I know is for some reason my delivery could not be made directly to my door, despite this not being an issue in the past. I said I would like to cancel my order and was immediately hung up on with no other words spoken.
It is definitely bad weather and I understand business may be crazy. However, I do not appreciate the treatment from this location this time around. It will be a long time before I try ordering again which is disappointing as I specifically wanted Papa John's today and this is the only location that delivers to me.
UPDATE #2: So after being hung up on when asking to cancel, my pizza arrives. And somehow, the driver was able to come to the door after I was told he wouldn't be. At this point, I have already ordered pizza somewhere else, thinking my order was cancelled and I am still hungry. So I told the driver that I had cancelled that order. He asked if I still wanted it and I said no because I have already ordered and spent money elsewhere.
I told him I needed to get a refund for this order as that's what I had expected to happen when I asked to cancel. He was irritated and said "you can call the store and TRY to get a refund." When I tried calling the store, it rang for a long time and no one ever picked up. I have contacted customer service to open a ticket and thankfully I paid through PayPal so I am able to dispute my charge their as well. Careful with this location if they are having a bad day! It will reflect in your order and customer service experience. Very disappointed with my...
Read morePlaced my delivery order 75$ (which include wings will come up)order online at 4pm for the suns game at 5pm. Miss a call from store at 4:08pm. Call them back at 4:12 pm, store advised the delivery would be about 90 min, said okay. After thinking about it I called back at 4:20 to change it from delivery to pick up, store said it would be about 20 min, told them I will see them then. Get to the store at 445pm they could not locate my order. This took about 3 min , they ended up using my last name and saw that the Manger accently put my order for pick up at 6pm. I'm like why would he do that. visibly upset, I ask them how long would this take to make it, store said it would be 10-15 min. Upset I say okay let's do it. Store then says they are out of wings... at this point I very upset as to why when they called me and I called them back why during that time they would not inform me of this. Like half my order is wings ffs. Ended up canceling the order. Went home looked up another papa john's and called this location(craving a stuffed crust pizza) call them, not realizing this is a freaking call center, I placed the same order and even asked if they had wings. Placed on hold and hey came back and said yes. So continued with my order for 75$. Get a call from the same freaking store thst I just canceled my order from saying that I just placed my order with them and there is a 90 min delivery and they are out of wings. Extremely frustrated told them to cancel my order and I will not ever be doing business with ther company again zero accountability, zero empathy, zero internal communication within the store. Anyone who reads this you probably with have an okay experience but maybe you won't. Ther newest reviews all seem to be pretty bad.but for me I will never risk dealing with any papa john's again, other pizza places I have dealt with with a better track record and if they did make a mistake they...
Read moreI wish it was possible to give no star at all. I placed first order online and picked up. We ordered a bowl, the ingredients was wrong. Called and spoke to "manager" on duty. He was very rude and telling me he can't find my order. It was picked up 10 minutes prior to me calling to report the error. When I finally after repeating my name and number 6 times asked for corporate number. He finds my order. He asked did I want him to send me a new one, it would take about an hour. I chose to get it on next visit.
2nd order. I called my order in to make sure my comp was in the system as the manager wasn't very reassuring. The young man that answered the phone didn't find it at first.. I could hear him talking to the manager , who remembered my order. So I was excited. I even ordered a second one cause I had an extra person. Exact same thing on both of them. They can't mess it up, so I thought. Get my food and guess what, it was wrong. So the manager was like I can make them over but it's going to be another 20 minutes. It was banana peppers, even though I wanted them baked in just give em to me on the side. Something told me to watch him. Glad I did cause he took his bare hands and grabbed my peppers out the plastic container.. When I said something the manager was yelling at the kid, I've told you all week to use gloves. When I asked the manager what could he do for me, as this is the 2nd time my order was wrong. He looked me in my face and said I don't have time for you lady.. Asked for Corp number,he gave me their number to technical support. I have yet to hear back from corporate after looking up and calling real number. So disappointing and sad it's the closest papa...
