Fusion Tea Lounge — Restaurant in Tempe

These guys are so good at making so many different things I recommend ordering to share that way you won't miss a thing. They will bring your food out in courses and everyone can taste each course together. As your meal continues you might think, what the heck is this place doing in a strip mall? It's hiding in plain sight. The dining area is simple and austere, but don't be fooled, this food is anything but plain. Go at lunch on a weekday and you might be dining with HS kids, kids are cool, but any evening and you'll be enjoying the methodical decadence akin to a tasting menu. I tried a meal to go last week, ordered only repeats to compare to our dine-in experience. The Seashore Roll, the spicy pork dumplings, and the Dancin' Duck were all excellent...again. (The char on the scallop on the Seashore Roll is hypnotizing and you might think, how can I ever eat a scallop any other way?) I've tried each visit to only repeat order one item to try new things, but it's getting tougher to forgo...

I was in the neighborhood and suddenly hit with a serious craving for boba tea. This place had good reviews, so I thought—why not check it out? It’s a mid-sized tea shop with an open kitchen, and it gave off major family-owned vibes—like a solid 2-3 generation operation. Everyone was super friendly, which made the visit even better. The menu? Massive! I was honestly surprised they could fit that many food and drink options into a place this size. From rolls and tapas to desserts, teas, and milk teas—they’ve got it all. Props to them for pulling it off without turning it into chaos. 👏 I went with the strawberry banana milk tea with boba, and they asked about sweetness level—25%, 50%, or 75%. I picked 50%, and let me tell you... it was chef’s kiss perfect. I didn’t ask for light ice, but the guy made it that way anyway (bless him), and later I was super grateful for it. Who knows, maybe I’ll find myself in that neighborhood again. And if I do, I’m definitely stopping by...

Returned a few weeks ago to FINALLY try their food. It’s taken me this long to post about their spicy DQ wings because I didn’t know if I had the words to describe how amazing they tasted. I’ve had a craving for them almost every week since. Perfect spicy and crispness level. Just absolutely amazing!! I usually call and order ahead, and they’re ready when I arrive. Don’t forget to air them out in the drive home so they maintain their perfect texture! Will be and have been back several times for them. 🤤🤤

Tried the green lattea (50% sugar) part of their cream tea series and it was sooo goood! New fav! 🙂

Lemon green tea at 70% sugar is my favorite iced green tea everrr! So refreshing and delicious, I love it! 😋 and customer service is always awesome!

Went back and tried the black lattea at 75% sugar, and I loved it!! 😍 customer service was also good!
