Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Tempe

This seems to be a poorly managed franchise location. I ordered one of the new turkey sandwiches as a combo online. When I arrived there was very loud, bizarre EDM blaring. My order wasn't ready even though I arrived after my pickup time, because they were out of turkey, which is fine (I understand supply chain issues) but they said they had tried to call me which was untrue. I told them which sandwich I wanted instead and it was made quickly, but I had to remind the guy that I had ordered a combo which came with chips and a drink too. He told me I could get the chips but their CO2 was out so I couldn't get a drink. I realize now that I should have asked for the drink cup anyway so I could get tea at least, but the employee probably could have offered other options. He didn't even offer a refund or anything. I love Jimmy John's but I got a little frustrated with this location because when I called to place a delivery order they check to make sure my address is within range and told me that it was. After about 45 minutes they called me back to tell me that it was too far and they had voided my order completely and then told me the money would be refunded to my account in 3 to 5 business days. I would've preferred they called me to offer that I come pick it up instead of voiding my order. Also my house is only 2.1 miles away which I thought was fairly close it's my old location was 1.6 miles away and they delivered there. When they say fast service, they mean fast service. After placing an order online, these guys call over one of their Olympic cycling athletes and have them race over to your place, just to give you a sandwich. I'm at ASU and these guys somehow get into the dorms and hand deliver at your door. I'm not sure what their secret is, but it works. Their sandwiches are also really delicious, tasty, and filling. They have a decent selection, and a lot of customization options. Chips and cookies are good as well.
