Hassayampa Academic Village — Local services in Tempe

Would like to say that this is the worst experience I have ever had. They do not enforce rules and refuse to take action against anything that is done wrong. There was a serious health violation in my room with trash everywhere and they absolutely did not address it until verbal abuse was made between 2 people. I am very disappointed with this experience. To even get a room change I have to have my mom constantly contacting the school. I liked ASU but will not be returning because of this experience in Hassayampa. I would recommend finding something else off campus before signing any housing contract. What a miserable first...

One of the better ASU dorms. Better only because business students don't cause as much vandalism as others. The amount of damage in ASU dorms is amazing, broken out and missing ceiling tiles, holes in sheetrock walls, exit sign lights hanging by wiring, and all that was in a building that Just opened after summer break repair work. This place is a shithole for anyone who wants to take academics seriously. It's the other students who cause problems, though the university does very little to remedy the numerous systemic issues with vandalism and noise.

There should be more pressure to penalize those who break suite/room agreements, and to enforce dorm-wide policy.
