The Cafe at Vista — Restaurant in Tempe

This place opened recently and I had a taste for coffee so I decided to try it while passing by. Was very impressed by the service. I got the hot drip coffee and the staff behind the counter (I assume the owner) told me that it was a stronger brew and if I was unsatisfied with it he'd be happy to get me something else for free. He also gave me a donut for free because I was a first time customer. Good service, good speed, good quality coffee, and a convenient location for students overall. Prices are comparable to Starbucks but I figure that if you're going out for coffee you're not expecting it...

My friend and I were waiting in line this morning (11/15) and the barista (Hannah, according to the board) did not acknowledge us or the customer in front of us for about 10 minutes. I understand she was working on another (online?) order but to just look at us without saying “be there in a minute” or anything or even smiling made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. We even wondered if maybe the front was not open. Very good service here! Bella was super kind and was working very hard! She was the only barista but she was still able to assist each customer with a good attitude and a greeting. I’ve been here multiple times. They have great espresso. I’ve also enjoyed their lotus energy drink. It’s very sweet, so I would recommend going with half sweet. This is a great place to try out, especially if you have classes nearby or live nearby. Their drinks are regularly priced as far as cafes go so expect $5-7 drinks.
