Nashville Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Tempe

Staff was extremely friendly and funny from the second we walked through the door and even asked us how we heard about them. I ordered the 2 sandwich combo and also the waffle sandwich (So that I would have lunch the next day). The prices are insanely affordable. It was something like $7 for just a sandwich. I ate a regular hot chicken sandwich first and the chicken was perfectly and freshly fried. The fries were amazing. My friends and I agreed that the regular ones are better than the waffle fries. After that I put some syrup on my waffle sandwich and had to pause to take in the flavor. Food this good should not be this price. A very large group of young men came in while we were eating who were obviously regulars and the staff was happy to see them which really gave the place a sense of community too. 10/10 would recommend and will 100% be coming back soon. The only thing that would make it even more enjoyable for me is if it was even more spicy because I’m used to insane levels of heat. But for your average person the heat levels are just right. Oh yeah, also make sure you get a side of their house pink...

My partner and I showed up at 9 pm, and the door was locked. Luckily enough, we called to make sure they didn’t close early.

The phone was answered by the owner who was VERY kind and VERY helpful. He unlocked the door, and explained the reason why he keeps the door locked once it gets a tad later, which honestly makes sense. (I suggest y’all going to know the reason, since it’s not my story to tell)

When ordering, we ordered the Number 3 which comes with two sandwiches and fries. One sandwich being the mild and the other sandwich being the blazin. We upgraded the fries to the crazy fries. We also got an order of jalapeno poppers.

Took this all to go.

The food was SPECTACULAR! The chicken was really juicy and thick. Definitely a good price for what you get.

I will suggest to get more sauce on the chicken. But I was happy and content regardless.

The only thing I was unhappy with was that I wanted more fries after eating them so quickly because they were so good lol.

Look, the lady who serviced us for just an order of 3 friends was fine. I only gave 1 star for service portion because this place needs to just not exist if these portions are what you always get. $4.50 for fries and this is the pathetic portion I got. Then you pay even more for the crazy fries that come with coleslaw, cheese and pink sauce. First of all coleslaw is basically free, the sauce it's cheap and cheese is also ..so maybe add a protein to justify the price difference . We ordered no cheese so that's fine BUT the pink sauce was supposed to be there we didn't even get that. These portions are absolutely pathetic and the fries taste subpar even though they look like they are supposed to be seasoned. I really should have saved my money and got fries from Taco Bell. At-least their taco fries actually taste seasoned and they are heaps cheaper for a great portion size. We didn't get any chicken cause we just wanted a snack to eat while walking around sprouts next door but we are all still hungry and just left disappointed and...
