Let me start off by saying, I normally do not take time out of my day to post reviews but I had to with this (so that should tell you something). I have been getting my nails done regularly at various shops for years and have NEVER complained about my nails even when I didnt like the job....This place took the cake. This was the absolute WORST experience and EVEN WORST nail job I have ever had done!! I started off with my pedicure. The guy that did it did a LOUSY job! (I asked for the pedi w/ callus remover) He started off with the callus remover and completely rushed through the entire thing. I kept thinking to my self "wow hes going super fast and not doing very good" but I hate complaining so I kept it to my self. Then he went straight from callus remover to rinsing my feet and then applying lotion. I thought it was weird that he was applying lotion on my legs before doing ANYTHING and I seriously mean ANYTHING to my toes! I brought it to his attention bc maybe he's had a long day and just forgot. Instead of just looking at my toes (bc it was obvious nothing had been done to my nails) the guy started trying to argue with me saying he did.He then started speaking in his foreign language to coworkers causing a scene in shop. I was APPALLED!! Worst customer service in my entire life!! Even my 8yr old daughter looked at my toes and said, "wow mommy that doesn't look good. It's looks like I did your nails" I understand people make mistakes and it would have been different if someone was willing to correct the lousy job but they wanted to argue. I am not an arguementive person at all. I was so upset that I left without getting the rest of our services. Thank you for ruining part of my 8yr...

This place is flat out horrible. I have a friend who recommended it so I tried going there three separate times. The pedicures are mediocre at best. The first time I went for a manicure they completely ruined my nails and the acryllics they put on we're extremely thick. When I went to get them removed somewhere else, the other place couldn't even get them off considering they destroyed my nails. The second time I went here (today), I just wanted a nice, simple gel manicure so that my nails looked nice for Christmas. They turned out so bad I almost could have done a better job at home by myself. I was passed around twice, and the second lady, which I believe is the actual owner, ripped my skin off around the nail and made me bleed. She told me this was because my nails were too short but she continued to rip my skin off even though I kept pulling away. She didn't put enough coats on so the paint job is patchy and she shaved my nails down so now they just look lumpy and weird. She also didn't even file them straight. She got nail polish all over my fingers and just told me to go home and wash my hands to get it off instead of just cleaning it up for me. And I accidentally touched something which made the polish chip and she just painted over it making it look even patchier and uglier. NEVER coming here again and I will be telling my friends about my experience to tell them to go somewhere else. Horrible nails and...

It was a terrible experience. The only man that works there a Vietnamese, is very aggressive, violent and abusive. Ladies be careful with him. He have the worst attitude. He was not doing his job correctly, and I know because I have been going for several years and other ladies have given me good pedicures , and I just ask him why he didn't remove the dry skin from some toes. His reaction was star yelling at me and insulting me. He yelled to get out of the place, he almost pulled my arm, but the owner finally intervinened and put herself between him and me.He is not even the owner of Tempe Nails and Wax. The owner was trying to calm him, and when I ask the owner for another person to finished ,he started yelling that in the first place he never wanted to do the pedicure to me. The terrible thing was that the owner Lucy ask me to never return to her place, instead of reprimend him. I was so humiliated and ashamed in front of the other customers.Tempe Nails and Wax is a dangerous place to go. Please ladies be very careful with that Vietnamese guy.
