The first time it was pretty cool I asked for my food to be fresh and they did that now the second time I was very disappointed because when I came in to the window instead of the drive-through, I’m sitting there waiting nobody came to the window. three employees walked by the window didn’t say nothing so I got tired of waiting for almost 10 minutes so I got back in my car and this time I went through the drive-through I ordered my food. I told him I want everything fresh when I finally got home. I was a little bit irritated the french fries didn’t taste fresh. They taste blend with no salt. No taste. They were cold. They just taste nasty. My daughter’s chicken nuggets were burnt. She didn’t even enjoy it. My burger was probably the only thing that was OK. Not the greatest but OK I just wanna say like gotta do better like I don’t know the change of the shift but the first time I went service was cool. Second time in a different week different setting different crew attitude. I asked the lady that came and gave me my soda. What was the total she couldn’t answer me it’s like OK it’s a simple question and so she left the window open and then another lady comes up close the window. It’s like OK I don’t know if I wanna come back to that one because it’s like damn is this what we doing so I guess I’m gonna have to try another pete I could’ve took the food back. I’m five months pregnant. I’m tired had a migraine. There’s just no point I don’t think those employees wants to catch my wrath or my attitude so I just left it alone. I just know not to go back to that location ever...
Read moreI have been going to Pete's since i was a kid (around the time dirt was discovered) and have always loved, loved, loved the shrimp and chips and the delicious red sauce. However, I guess all good things must come to an end. In January of this year many of us who love Pete's decided to have a Pete's shrimp and chips feast. Sadly, It was a disaster...the food has apparently been jobbed out to some processing plant and instead of that hand rolled, long, flat chewy and delicious seasoned piece of shrimp that was so addicting... We wound up with 110 pieces of typical processed chemically flavored fast-food seafood garbage that has become the standard in fast food restaurants all over the country. And though the red sauce is still great, it can never mask that wretched processed fast food taste. I ask myself "why change something the is already working"? I suppose it's rising food costs that forced them to change the recipe and way of making the shrimp by hand. Definitely a mistake, However, my advice to you (though it may not mean anything to you) is to get back to the basics and return to the original way of making this product.. it is and was what made Pete's great. And don't be afraid to raise the price. People.. will... get...over...it. Let the bargain hunters go elsewhere (you will never make them happy for long anyway)... and in the long run you will have a great product again and your old fan base will return passing the info on to a new generation.. you and your company will be...
Read moreI just had the worst customer service that I've experienced..... Whomever reads this review, take the time to train your staff to be courteous and to have thick skin. You will see the difference with sales!!! Today I came back to your Apache Blvd. location to get my 7 piece Shrimp & Chips since it was missing in my previous order. Rewinding a bit so I can explain my story.... I immediately called when I noticed my plate missing since I live about 35 to 40 minutes from that location... I should have taken the person's name of the day shift employee. But he said he would put me on the list no matter how long it would take me to return to the exact location. Fast Forwarding... I get to the Drive- Thru. I immediately tell the employee my situation. The employee automatically gets defensive because the sound of my voice... Just to let you know... I'm Military... We tend to be sarcastic or condescending... We are not built like the rest of the world.... I basically got screamed at by the female employee.... I can hear the Male Manager yelling in the background also... I replied. This is how the customer is treated.... I had enough and left after I gave your employee a piece of my mind. And yes! It felt really good!! So with that... I will never return to this location!
