This coffee shop quickly became one of my favorites, and after three visits, I can confidently say it’s a gem. The owners’ passion for quality and attention to detail is evident in everything—from the hand-picked tiles imported from Spain to the cozy lighting that makes you feel at home. As a Mexican American with mixed ancestry, I felt an immediate connection to the space, which blends cultures seamlessly, creating an atmosphere that truly welcomes everyone.

The drinks are where this place really shines. Each one is carefully crafted, from the Yemeni Shai with its aromatic spices to the rich, nutty Sicilian Pistachio Latte with Almond Milk. The Matcha Latte with Almond Milk offers the perfect balance of earthy and smooth, while the Toot Shami Mojito is a refreshing, minty twist you won’t find anywhere else. And the Spanish Latte—a tribute to one of the owners’ heritage—is a sweet, comforting indulgence that stays with you long after the last sip. The honeycomb is sourced locally and is made fresh, this does contain cheese.

While some of the drinks do take a little time to prepare—because great coffee deserves care—it’s absolutely worth the wait. The staff is friendly and always happy to advise you on what to order if you’re in a rush.

Whether you’re here for a relaxing chat, a cozy study spot, or just to enjoy one of the many delicious drinks, this place is a must-visit. Every detail makes it a welcoming,...

Decided to try this new coffee shop in Tempe for a work meeting. The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly, I felt like I could work remotely here peacefully all day. The menu included different types of coffee, unique from anything you'd get at a Starbucks, with delicious flavors and spices. My favorite was the Spanish coffee, the pistachio latte with honey cold foam, and the caramel milk cake. The natural flavors of date, pistachio, and honey were delicious and could be added to any coffee. The seating was comfortable with pillow arm rests at the booths and window seating with large windows bringing in light to the cafe. The baristas were very friendly and walked you through the menu, full service bringing your coffee and food to the table in glass cups and wood plates. I absolutely loved this cafe! Worth the drive down from Scottsdale. The parking is a tad difficult because of the...

Shibam Coffee is a remarkable addition to Tempe, AZ, bringing the rich heritage of Yemeni coffee culture to life. From the moment you step inside, the inviting atmosphere and warm decor set the stage for an unforgettable experience.

The coffee here is nothing short of exceptional. Each cup is brewed using authentic Yemeni beans, offering a complex flavor profile that is both rich and nuanced.

Beyond the coffee, Shibam offers a delightful menu of traditional pastries and snacks that perfectly complement your drink. The hospitality is genuinely welcoming, making you feel like part of the family.

Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just looking for a cozy spot to relax, Shibam Coffee is a must-visit. It’s a true gem that beautifully represents the artistry of Yemeni coffee, and I can’t...

I found this coffee shop searching on google and it was the best hidden gem! I got the Shibam Coffee and it was so smooth and deliciously spiced. My friends got the Spanish Latte and loved that as well. We all tried the honeycomb and caramel milk cake. Both were amazing and paired perfectly with our drinks. I really loved that our dine-in drinks and food were served with ceramic/glassware, it really adds a nice touch that I appreciated. Before we left we also got an additional Date Latte with cold foam and Pistachio Latte with honey cold foam, as well as another slice of caramel milk cake to go! That's just how good our experience was. The vibe in the cafe is very comfortable and homey. It definitely reminded me of a typical arabic home. I will definitely be coming back!
