I regret to say that my experience at Honey2aBee was extremely disappointing. I had high expectations based on the reviews I had read, but my visit left me frustrated and dissatisfied.
To start, I paid $32 for my order and even added a tip, trusting that I would receive excellent service. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I ordered two crepes, a large matcha, and a large chai, but I only received one crepe and the matcha. When I pointed out the missing crepe and chai, the staffâs response was unprofessional and dismissive.
The employee assisting me immediately began searching through the trash for a receipt, which they had apparently lost. This was both unorganized and unprofessional. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, the staff member insinuated that I had ordered only one crepe, despite my clear explanation.
As for the chai, it was not only the wrong size but also poorly prepared. The drink was not fully mixed, leaving an unpleasant taste. The staff member responsible for making the drink seemed confused and uninterested in fixing the mistake, again implying that I was at fault.
As a Muslim, I was deeply disappointed by my experience at Honey2aBee, especially given the high regard I hold for businesses run by my fellow Syrian brothers and sisters.
From the beginning, the service was unwelcoming and dismissive. I encountered multiple issues with my order, but instead of addressing them with professionalism and understanding, the staff treated me with skepticism. It felt as though they were insinuating that I was being dishonest about the mistakes they had made.
This experience was not only frustrating but also disheartening, as I had hoped to support a business rooted in shared cultural and religious values.
What could have been a simple and enjoyable visit turned into an embarrassing and frustrating experience. The lack of accountability and poor customer service left me feeling disrespected and undervalued...
Read moreI had this place saved in my phone to try but unfortunately was a little disappointed. Went in between breakfast and lunch time so there was no wait. I ordered the Dubai strawberries and knew as soon as she pulled it out pre-made I should have said nevermind. Of course anything with chocolate and pistachio tastes good but the strawberries were already soggy and after I ate the first few on top I had to throw the rest away. I understand this place probably gets busy so they pre-stock but I feel like an item with fresh fruit this should be made fresh like the crepes and coffee drinks. Also for $13 I feel like you should be able to finish it but I threw away 3/4 of the cup cause the fruit just kept getting more soggy cause it was the refrigeration that was probably the only thing keeping them together. Before coming here I also read the reviews and checked out their IG and Tiktok and everyone raved about their service but the person seemed annoyed. Could be a bad morning but still another reason why I felt inclined to check it out. I gave it a 3/5 because the iced shaken honey espresso was really good! Overall spent $19 and had to throw most of it away though so that wasn't fun.
Edit: for the owner I was there around 11:50am on 2/19. My total was just under $19 but the coffee was very good I don't need a...
Read moreFirstly, I want to say my 2 friends and I don't head to Tempe often, but we were really into the idea of getting some hot drinks and desserts and after a search this place was open late which was the deal breaker on coming. We sit and talk for hours so it was going to work perfect. We met around 730 and as we walked in, the staff were SO super friendly. They were asking questions about us, asking if it was our first time there, how/if we were affiliated with ASU (my friend works on campus and I'm an alumni) and were giving us great recommendations. My voice is gone so he recommended the immunity hot tea, amazing choice if you love ginger like me. I also got the cookies and cream gelato, again, seriously best tasting gelato so creamy and thick. My friend got a pistachio crepe and matcha latte, both fantastic. My other friend got the gluten free version of berry crepe. The gentleman at the register gave us a little discount for being our first time there AND my friends free gelato. It was super kind and we just felt like they went above and beyond. Not to mention the place was poppin, like, seriously so many people and I am here for it, they deserve it! I wish I would've gotten the main guys name, he seemed like the shop owner. All in all, we will...
