Taco Bell — Restaurant in Tempe

This is my favorite Taco Bell location! Everyone is so friendly and are genuinely good employees. Always greeted with a smile and friendly soul. And nearly every time I've been there, the food has been outstanding and extremely fresh! Tonight I needed a Chicken Power Bowl for all the protein it offers... since I'm recovering from an illness. It did not disappoint. In fact, it was absolutely, hands down, the best meal I've ever had at Taco Bell... and I've had a lot of really good ones at this location and elsewhere. But tonight every single ingredient in that delicious Chicken Power Bowl was fresh and cooked/prepared to perfection... the Spanish rice was fresh, warm, fluffy and tasty. Their chicken bites were super tender and seasoned just right! The black beans tasted exceptional... the best black beans I've ever tasted, actually... again, cooked perfectly, with a tasty sauce, which flavors blends with the chicken for the perfect bite. And the lettuce, diced tomatoes, Guacamole, sour cream and cheese that tops it all off were every bit as fresh and tasty. It just all went so perfectly well together that I was in Power Bowl Heaven. 😉 😇 My only complaint is with me... that I completely forgot to snap a photo before I ate it all. Hopefully next time though... like tomorrow when I return to enjoy another one! Oh... almost forgot I had company! LOL My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Crunchwrap... but he doesn't describe his food like me... but he did acknowledge it was probably fresher tasting than usual.

UPDATED WITH PHOTOS: Since I'm a woman of my word, I did in fact return the following day to enjoy another heavenly Chicken Power Bowl, and did not in my haste forget to snap a few photos of the Power Bowl that was every bit as perfect as the one the night before. It's so wonderful to have such a delicious healthier choice at one of my all-time favorites...

If I could give it negative stars, I would. I recently moved to the area and have never had such horrid experiences at a Taco Bell. I know that most of the time the people working there are high school kids, but of the four times I've been there over the past few weeks, my order has been correct zero times. My orders haven't been complicated, one substitution on a single item that has been wrong every time. Not only that, most of the time I get different items that what I ordered. The previous time I ordered four burritos, two the same, two other different ones. I received four burritos that were all bean burritos, which wasn't one of the items that I ordered. Not to mention, going through the drive-through I haven't been through quicker than about five minutes. The previous time there were two cars in front of me, took me about five minutes to finally make it up to the window, then an additional five minutes or so to get my order. Every time the service has been horribly slow, and not even at peak time.

We live in the neighborhood north of this location and after our last visit we will drive out of our way to go to either another Taco Bell or fast food for our late night fixes. Weve get unenthusiastic nasty hostile drive through enployees, out of the last 5 visits 4 were wrong items ( its not typically a cheese roll up and burrito) on our last visit, we were charged thenwrong ampunt, no receipt was given, they forgot to give us our drinks. We called (as drive was only open at 12am) and rather than answer they picked up and hung up 7 times, we then proceeded to wait behind 6 cars and wait our turn (again) where the drive through personseemed surprised and asked "you came back for the drinks?" To which we responded we paid for them didnt we? We then had to wait and additional 13 min until we got to the window we asked why they didnt pick up the phone ... we dont answer the phones at night and then asked if we still wanted our drink. Whats disappointing is the location just 2 miles north off southern renders accuracy, service, and quality. If omly they...
