2 years since I've been to this place due to having a bad experience... got a text for 10% for birthday... decided to go for a pedicure. Idk why I even decided this was a good idea lol. The lady did everything great except the polishing... left thinking it looked fine and then maybe hour later I could see polish shrunk. Went back 3 days later to have fixed... Lady had stated regular polish doesn't last as long as gel and it's not my fault if they chip I'm going to fix it now but if it chips again it's on you. I told her I'm not here b/c there happens to be a very small chip on my pinky toe which YOU half painted... I'm here b/c there's multiple toes that have shrinkage and clearly weren't painted thoroughly. My big toes and some others literally you could see both coats of paint and the top coat. She got mad and started crap about me to the worker behind her. I could hear her saying "chip" ... and idk idk. I left unhappy again added an additional photo where you can see coats of paint. Just ridiculous.
I have been going to the salon for many years… Oh I don’t know where things went wrong I stopped going for about a month due to price increases,availability issues, etc. I went back today and just did not have a great experience I walk in tell the little receptionist girl who I am she says gels over there and throws her hand up…I go to wash my hands come back to check into the point system and ask if she happens to know who is doing my nails she says I don’t know rudely. When I’m done and go to check out I ask if the point system screen took my number she says I don’t know I ask if they can manually enter it sent again I’ve been coming here for many years and I’ve probably spent over $1000 or more the manager walks up and says if she hasn’t spent $29 then she can’t put her number in any longer I’d love to know when this was implemented????
about a week or two ago my mother came in and she always crosses out the tip line on the receipt because she gives cash… she checked her bank account and noticed that this place added an additional $20 to the $47 bill that she ran on the debit card. She called and asked why $20 more was charged and they said you wrote $20 as a tip and she said I absolutely did NOT. My mom and I have discussed how they nickel and dime you and almost seems as though they do sketchy things to get more money and this proved our point.
Unfortunately I will not be coming back to this nail salon the sketchiness, the disrespect, and everything else that has been going on I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will remove all recommendations I have made prior.

If I have a problem with a business, (which is very rare) I try to resolve the issue in person so that they have a chance to fix the issue themselves, but this time, that didn’t even work, so here I am. I just had the WORST experience ever. I’m so angry, hurt and feel completely taken advantage of. If I could change this to a -3 star review, I would. If you are thinking of going here, don’t!!! Run far far away!!!
Just had my nails done at this salon on Friday. I wanted a new dip set and pedicure. Left with a gel set- something I did not ask for, but whatever, as long as they look good I’m not picky.
The next morning, not even 24 hours later, they started peeling and bubbling. I was very upset because I paid good money and they didn’t even last a day.
Made an appointment to get them redone for today. The appointment was confirmed for 10 this morning and I wanted them to take the gel set off and give me what I originally wanted which was a new dip set. Went in to the salon and told them what happened and showed them my ruined nails. They told me have a seat and they would be with me shortly. 25 minutes go by and they finally seat me. They set a bowl filled with remover down and told me to start taking the nail polish off myself and they would redo my nails for free.
I take the polish off myself and continued to sit there another 20-30 minutes. I finally had enough and went up front and asked if I could just have a refund. The receptionist went and asked the lady that was in charge, the receptionist came back and told me they don’t do refunds and I couldn’t get my money back. She then said that she could schedule another appointment for me- even though I had this appointment set and it’s been an hour and no one has seen me.
Im so done at this point and told her, “ I live three hours away and cant just schedule another appointment like that.” She said that she “didn’t know what to tell me”. At this point I told her that I was just going to leave. Without even skipping a beat, she looked past me to the next customer and asked if they had an appointment and completely disregarded me. Im a very understanding person. I never yelled or made a scene, but maybe I should have, maybe then I would have gotten the service that I had originally paid for. I have NEVER felt so unheard. Not only did I waste hours of my time, but also my money too! I can’t get the hours of time back so can I JUST get a refund? So disappointed!!! Worst customer service ever. Completely...
Read moreI have been getting pedis from Moon for years. Literally 3+ years. Ive come for wedding nails, nails during both of my pregnancies, and celebratory nails. I even moved to the west side and have commuted an hour each way to continue getting pedis here because Moon is the best. Scheduling was never an issue before, but as the years went on it became much harder to get in with Moon. You typically need a couple weeks notice to get a spot. Unfortunately... Today, after waiting 3 weeks for my appointment, I was told by another staff member that someone else was scheduled instead and it mustve been the mistake of the scheduling person. She said they put me down for a pedi with "anyone available". That doesnt even make sense? Who schedules weeks in advance to be with "anyone"? Only loyal customers schedule that far in advance with the person they are loyal to. I tried to explain that my birthday is in 3 days, I am flying to go on vacation on Friday, and I booked this appointment with Moon (never anyone else) weeks ago, AND I just took an hour drive to get here. The lady who spoke with me shrugged and said all she can do is get me in with someone else, so what do I want. She even pointed at the other customer waiting for her appointment with Moon and said "See? She's here, she has the appointment not you". Unprofessional. I have never been so embarrassed to try and explain how disappointing and inconvenient this was. She did NOT. CARE. No apology, no sympathy. I was on the verge of tears and kept gently explaining how disappointing this was. She asked if I wanted to call the manager which I agreed to so she put me on the phone and, although the manager was much nicer, my only option was to come back another time. No discount was offered because they need owner approval. I hate complaining, and I especially hate having to explain how upsetting this was but I did it anyway so they would know what a scheduling error can do to a person's plans. Because of this, I just simply cannot recommend this...
