A well known Tempe vegan restaurant 24 Carrots, has been delighting us with their wonderful menu, has survived despite the odds during a pandemic. They are more than a restaurant, they are creative and kind people, and also a charity drop off for those in need. A new business has coveted their space and made the landlord a big offer which has pushed out a viable and successful business. Aside from being entirely unethical and downright entitled and greedy - they have brought down a successful business in a climate in which it is difficult for any business to survive. I've been shopping at this store since 1997. It's a great store. Over the years they have expanded it twice to keep up with it's popularity. The staff are all great people who are a mix of age gender race, you name it, but with the diverse nature they are all a similar TJ's personality, agreeable friendly and helpful. There are certain times I avoid as it's crowded and the other stores drain the parking lot then. My choice is Monday 6pm or Saturday same time.

If I were rating TJ's as a company I'd drop some points as they are cutting product lines and the loss of choices is almost making me ready to go to whole...

This is a great place to stop and eat/shop. I try to park somewhere central, so I can just walk around the outside.. it's all covered - so your not in the sun. I start at Wildflower and eat, then go to Changing Hands bookstore to browse/buy books or other things. They have stationary, cards, gifts and other novelty items. I love looking around there! From there I head over to Trader Joe's and do a little more shopping! It's always my last stop since I might have frozen items, etc. Then back to my vehicle.. all within that shopping area!!
