I'm not completely sure if this makes my review better (more context) or worse (more bias), but in full disclosure: I'm a double ASU alum (MBA 2018 & PhD 2024), former staff (2018-2025) and current faculty (2025 - present) at the W. P. Carey School of Business - and I think this is one of the top business schools in the world!
Entrepreneurial ventures, and businesses alike, often battle to find the right balance between creating a product or service with demand | broad interest (aka. customer scale), and how they add value for their audience (aka. scope).
Traditional education faces the same challenge with private universities focusing on elite exclusion (scope), with public universities mandated towards broader access (scale). ASU, and it's W. P. Additionally, the Student Engagement team pours their heart into ensuring students are getting involved, have access to leadership positions, and feel connected to the school. The Career Management and Employer Engagement team also provides students with a plethora of internship/job opportunities, resume/cover letter support, and interview prep. Read moreThis business school has a great reputation, and although I knew that coming in as a student, I got way more than what I was expecting from it over my 4 years here. The professors, faculty, and even the alumni will never say no if you need help and they will do the best they can to help you get where you want to be school/career-wise.
