They called the police on us. I dined here w. my husband & had the worst dining experience. We had a reservation and were sat at a later time than our reserved time. When we sat we asked for bottled water, both still and sparkling, they brought us cups full of water, I thought they didn’t hear me so I asked once again for bottled water and the waiter THEN tells me, they do not carry bottled water and in their words said “the water just comes from the faucet/bar hose?” Whatever, we ordered our cocktails, we ordered Paloma’s with a tajin rim, (not on the menu), and they in fact did not taste like Paloma’s. The rim was salted so my husband mentioned to the waiter that we asked for tajin rim, the waiter then goes to the bar and was told that they apparently ran out of tajin as they only carry in their words “two small tajin bottles” and they ran out. We proceed to order our appetizers, we got fries, oysters, aguachile, and tacos. The aguachile was not what we expected so we asked if we can switch it out and the waiter was completely fine with it. We also ordered the kimchi fritters, which were extremely salty. Our friend who was with us ordered the lobster carbonara which he stated he was not satisfied with the portion and could not justify the price so he exchanged it for the fried rice which he indeed did like. We ordered steak, mashed potatoes and mushrooms as our main dish. We asked for the manager at this point just basically to make him aware that we were not having a good dining experience, Anthony the manager looked over our table and heard our concerns and he agreed by stating that we had not touched our food by the looks of it and was very understanding. We mentioned to him that we would try our food that had just got there and the conversation ended. The food again was salty, cold and not enjoyable so we just asked for the check, the check was between $400 and $500 I believe, which we again could not justify based of off the items we actually touched and consumed. We called the manager over again to discuss the bill where another lady who stated was a manager as well came and we explained to her what we explained to Anthony the previous manager which we had spoken to. She basically did nothing and said “I’m sorry to hear that, here comes Anthony I’ll let you talk to him” completely disregarding our concerns, basically wasted our time and breath talking to her. Anthony came over to our table again and at this point I was so frustrated that we were not being heard so I told Anthony to go talk to the manager who just walked away from us because we just explained to her the situation. He comes back and we told him that we did not want to pay the full billed amount based off our experience and he said “Oh, so you’re not our type of customer” and WALKED AWAY, he did not say “wait a moment let me see what I can do” or anything at all. We at this point did not know how to move forward as those were his last words to us so we got up and walked out of the establishment. We were not going to continue sitting there waiting after just being passed around explaining ourselves over and over. They run out after us mind you we were walking, not running, we were walking, & they said that we had to pay the tab or they would call the authorities. My husband says call them we will gladly speak to them, they call the police who came and stated we had to pay the tab, which we said “that is completely fine” we paid the bill and just explained to the officer that we were not happy with the service which he understood, the security at the door also understood and we OBVIOUSLY PAID for the service that was provided however we were so dissatisfied with the food, how do you not have bottled water and the customer service. Both managers could have handled the situation way more professionally and communicated better and trust me we were not trying to get a free meal or it’s not like we cannot afford it. We eat at many places in many states and have never had this issue ANYWHERE. This was THE...
Read moreIf I could rate a ZERO star, I would have!! We visited on a Friday. Reservation was at 7:15. We checked in at 7:20 and I apologized profusely for being 5 minutes late. They were friendly and said they were setting our table and would be right with us. At 7:30, I asked them if we could go grab a drink from the bar and can they come grab us when table was ready. They said, "Absolutely!" So we made our way to the bar. Kate, the bartender was extremely personable and recommended some drinks. They were great. So was she. At 7:40 my gf went to check on our table since all of the bar high tops were empty and we wondered why we hadn't been seated. They told her we should be seated shortly. We got sat around 7:45. Once sat the service went from bad to worse. Waited approximately 20 minutes to place order. Drinks were empty for about that long as well. At some point during our experience, I excused myself from our table to go to the front and asked to speak to a manager. Anthony came up and I described our experience. I told him we were there to celebrate my bday and all I'm doing is complaining about how bad and slow the service is that my gf who arranged the dinner felt horrible for choosing this place and that I wasn't happy. He swore to come by the table and make it right. He visited our table and reassured us that he would be on top of everything and get things back on track. He noticed our waters were almost empty and said he would get us some water and make sure our drinks came quickly. Took 12....12 minutes for water to be refilled!!! Ridiculous. We were so over the experience that I just wanted to leave. I flagged down another manager, Marcus, and said, please talk to Anthony because nothing has gotten better. Then for the next 15 minutes nobody came around. We got up from our table and I walked to the front desk and demanded our check so we could pay and leave. I told her I would like to ONCE AGAIN speak to a manager and preferably not Anthony since he clearly didn't do anything to make things better. Marcus came up and they comped $40 from the $300 we spent here. Mind you, it costs $82 for 3 drinks. So Anthony didn't even feel it was necessary to buy a round after our awful experience. If you feel like dropping $300 in an hour and a half to be ignored and have to beg for you check so you can pay for a horrible experience, this is your place!!! Anthony, do better!!! We would have happily spent double the $$ to have full drinks and good service!!! This place has a nice ambiance and could be fun but the service has to match the prices and atmosphere. Don't...
Read moreWelp … I went here with my friend for our birthday celebration last night and I am slightly disappointed. The ambience was cool with the LED screens. Our waitress was nice and obviously made suggestions of the most expensive things on the menu. I haven’t had a drink in a really long time so I figured I would try one for my birthday , I usually get a margarita so when that was the first thing she suggested, I grabbed it. Little that I know that it was $65!!!! For one drink… yes that’s correct. I was livid when I found out ant the end. Appetizers were $50 for some. We decided to get a plate of noodles and a plate of beef. Sharing is what they suggest however it’s definitely not a lot of food for what you are paying for. Food comes out at all different times so our steak came out on the table and we had to wait five minutes for our noodles While our steak got cold our $68 steak… People are running food as they see it I. The window and Not pairing it with whatever food they see for that table. Same thing happened we ordered two desserts for both of our birthdays. They brought one dessert with a candle and trying to light it in front of me. I told them that we wanted to wait for the other dessert. She looked at me shocked that she didn’t even know that there was another one and that I told her we wanted to wait so that we could blow out the candle together She had to take it back and go look in the window for the other Dessert. I think the waitress relies on the runners way too much. There was sometimes so we had food on the table in the waitress didn’t even come to check to see if we were good or needed anything. Also when we got our check I noticed they took off the price for one dessert not that I’m ungrateful but it was both our birthdays and they didn’t mention it at the table like hey btw we are comping a dessert for you! Didn’t sing happy birthday or anything idk the server just didn’t communicate very well at all, I feel like they did the bare minimum.
Also I loved the music it felt like Vegas vibes but then they had a saxophone player and it sounded like nails on a chalkboard with the techno music in the back. Like he was trying to match the beat and it was already so loud in there. It was honestly terrible I felt bad but it kinda ruined it for us. We both agreed we probably wouldn’t be back. Super overwhelming and overpriced. And yah the bathrooms lol they used like cheap art posters for the doors . Idk random. Overall disappointing. We paid almost 300 and we were still...
