The arena is great for watching hockey because you're right on top of the action due to the size of the arena. Everything else about this place is pretty meh. Security is rude and they dropped my son's iPhone while we were being screened for entry into the facility. Fortunately, it did not get damaged. The concessions are limited and the staff working them are also a bit rude. The concourse around the arena is really small and narrow, making it hard to navigate through. And there are not many restrooms, so lines build up fast and you end up waiting a while to use them. The seats are also a bit uncomfortable compared to Desert Diamond Arena and the Footprint Center. Getting into the garage before the game was quite easy and fast but leaving was a different story. Since everyone is leaving all at once out of one single garage, you end up stuck in traffic waiting to exit. Overall, it wasn't as good as an experience as I hoped it would be.

Nice arena, but small. Cannot walk around entire rink because of club area blocking 1/3 of the walkway so you dead-end & have to return the other way. Minimal food options - basic fare. No vegan or food allergy options. Does accommodate drink/bar order delivery in some sections/seating. Seats are a bit small & become uncomfortable by the 2nd period. 3rd period your back is hurting. Signage for Ground floor/Floor 1 could be improved - you don't know what's available there or ow to get there. Better signage for Coyotes Care Community Corner store in section 108 -- nicer space for merch than the pop-up vendor stations. View from section 105 row J. Good seats. However the host will appear several times in this stairway for promo breaks.

I had gone to watch an ice hockey match between ASU and Long Island University. It was a very good match and the entry was simple as me being an ASU student, we get free tickets. Just don't bring any belongings, they don't allow it inside the stadium, they only allow bottles that are transparent and empty. You can fill your bottle inside the stadium. It was very cold inside the stadium so do carry an extra layer for yourself if its an ice hockey match. They also have multiple restrooms and they have multiple food outlets as well. So they have you completely covered.

My first time at Mullett Arena was not what I had hoped. Parking was expensive, but that's really nothing new. The building looked nice & the place was clean. They had polite & helpful security, which was very good & very important. The food for this event was very limited, but suitable. Unfortunately there were two thing's that really bothered me & my family a lot! Number One: it was cold inside the entire arena. It was cold outside the arena & it felt just as cold inside! That's just poor & inconsiderate management. It really made it miserable! Number Two: They added an entire section of stiff, uncomfortable, somewhat rickety, folding chairs in front of the stage on the ground level & charged people a lot more to sit there! It was terribly uncomfortable sitting on hard, little folding chairs inside the cold Mullett Arena, especially knowing you paid an extra $50+ per seat. It felt like an ice skating rink without the ice. I wanted to move to the upper-level seating because it looked far more comfortable & from where we were sitting we would have had a better view. I don't know that I'd go back just because our first experience was so truly uncomfortable! Management failed miserably. As far as we are concerned, they need to try a lot harder to make people want...

It's a state of the art, hockey rink, based on the campus of Arizona State University.

While it's nice and elegant, it doesn't provide ADA access like most venues do nowdays.

The elevator is not readily available, plus there's not really a lot spaces for handicap seating...shame too, considering the number of fans attending the events at the university facilities who are older adults and seniors.

While alcohol is now allowed on campus for athletic events, I found the enormous, lit up, Coor's sign above the concession stand, not only distracting but catering to alcohol consumption, which I don't think should be a priority, especially on a school campus.

Handicap parking is also an issue if you're needing it. There's nothing really near the venue like you would think.

It seems like they're catering more to the temporary tenants who are sharing the facility for a while, our local NHL team, then they are to the ASU family as a whole.

That's my take on...
