Wendy's — Restaurant in Tempe

I was having a great day until I stopped at this place for a quick meal to eat on my way home. We ordered through drive thru, we repeated our order 3 times, then 4 times at the window and it was still wrong. I can't even be mad at the girl in the drive thru or any of the other workers after seeing how the young girl named Deondra that was in charge was treating all the employees there. Deondra was very unprofessional. We repeated to her what we said and she snapped back at us "daves double plain with tomato, Ya that's not plain" with so much attitude. We got asked to pull around while they corrected our burger. By then I was upset, went inside and told her I wanted a refund and put the fries and drink on the counter. While at the front counter she was getting upset with everyone else there. While walking into the building a lady almost fell cause the floor was so greasy and slippery. Again I can't be mad or upset at anyone else besides management at this place for even allowing this girl to be "in charge" while the manager is out. When I walked to my vehicle there was a black van outside and Deondra walked over to it bobbing her head like a bobble head and kept pointing at our truck, even when we got onto the road going towards the freeway her and another lady in the van was staring and still pointing at us while the other lady was upset on the phone. Don't know if we should be worried that she might have someone follow us. This is a shame that employees even get treated like this. The only 2 nice people that were there was the guy who was mopping and a young white lady who was leaving when we came into the store, they apologized for everything. It's a shame that they stay at this location and have to deal with this mess. No one deserves the treatment I saw today. SMH!!! If I could rate a Zero I would. I’ve tried to be patient with this location, but WOW, this is the worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. My order is almost always wrong, cold, or they’re not open. They’re supposed to open at 6:30 am for breakfast, HA, don’t bother. No one is ever there or ready to serve before 7 am. I ordered a #1 single, medium, with a coke today. I was the only person in the drive thru, and it still took forever. I ordered extra LTO since they always leave the veggies off for some reason. I didn’t get extra, but at least I got veggies this time. I ordered a medium, which is a $1 more— I got the correct sized Coke, but the fries were small, not medium, and were only half full and cold. It’s not worth it to go back, I’ve done this before. The last time my order was wrong, the manager was high and confused. I ended up waiting twice as long for a replacement. I get the whole “pandemic” thing and that they’re short staffed, but c’mon. There’s a Whataburger opening next door so Wendy’s will be closed soon. Although, it’s sad because I really like Wendy’s and this location is so convenient. Maybe when they close they will open an In-N-Out? 🤷‍♀️

To start a year ago this Wendy’s was great, came here all the time but over the past 4months it has really changed. This is the 3rd or 4th time now this Wendy’s has messed up some part if not the entire order. The lady at the drive through seems upset and confused. She repeatedly asked about our order over and over and gave us the total of 36 at the mic and then when we got to the window it was 49. It turned out she had added another combo onto our total even after we clarified making sure there was only 3 combos and not 4. We decided just to take the 4 combos but two out of the three drinks were wrong. One was a lemonade supposed to be strawberry no ice and was given a regular lemonade we brought it to another female employee’s attention and she corrected it. The second one we realized when we got home, we were rung up for two orange hi-c but it was clear one of them someone had stared to pour a different drink and topped it off with orange. It may be short staffing or something else like the other reviews discuss but it was bad enough that my husband has stated he will never come back to this Wendy’s and would rather drive out further if we ever...
