1914 Coffee House — Restaurant in Temple

This place is absolutely amazing! From the first time I walked in, I knew I found my coffee shop. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff greets me with the warmest welcome in town each visit. Their attention to detail was impeccable, making me feel like a VIP throughout my visit addressing me by my name a week later and knowing when I veer off my usual order.

The service was top-notch who were eager to help, answering all my questions with a genuine smile. The owners are always in the building, leading by example. I was amazed by their menu and its originality. The quality was unparalleled, exceeding all my expectations. As I write this review I am eating their lemon blueberry muffin and it tastes JUST like a pop tart!

What truly set this place apart was their value for the community. It's rare to find a business that not only excels in what they do but, also cares about the people they serve. Not only is this coffee shop in a beautifully remodeled home, it FEELS like home.

Update 12/13: the last 3 times I've been the same thing I always get has tasted consistently awful. I usually down my coffee within 10 minutes and I dont even finish half because they don't taste right at all. The last time (2 days ago) I told them about the issue and the lady looked confused as to what she should do so I suggested that it's missing all of the vanilla and oat milk...I'm pretty sure they put one pump of vanilla in it and handed it over without concern to make sure it was up to par. Sadly this was my "birthday coffee" as I headed out of town and it didn't get drank because it was still awful. You could definitely consider me a coffee snob but that's ok. If I want to spend $10 on coffee and ENJOY IT, then that's what I want. I used to come here several times a week but due to this recent change in quality, I will happily go get great coffee from my other local shops that are just as good!

This place is amazing! They designed the interior to replicate a cozy cottage with lots of cute alcoves, a sun porch that is my favorite spot, a big open porch, and decor that makes you feel happy and comfortable. The goodies are delicious and the beverages are wonderful. I have a refreshing green tea that is freshly steeped for each guest.

My friend had coffee and the hot coffee is served in an adorable porcelain wide top coffee cup and saucer. They create a beautiful design in the surface of the coffee. The iced coffee is topped with whipped cream and sprinkles, each one is unique depending on the flavor you order.

The music is relaxing and I found myself hanging out on the sun porch working all morning. The service is fantastic. I loved our experience. Going there is about the experience so go when you have a little time to sit and soak...
