Party of 3. Came in Sunday, mothers day at 12:30. Upon seating we were told that food would be a 30 minute wait upon ordering. There weren't that many tables with people at them so we went ahead and sat and ordered. IT TOOK AN HOUR AN A HALF BEFORE OUR FOOD CAME OUT. NO EXAGGERATION, DEFINITELY NO JOKE. we felt stupid for having waited for so long. After being served, a lady from the kitchen came out and asked how the food tasted... she seemed to be someone in authority. My wife's club sandwich came out all wrong. They fixed it somewhat but it still wasn't what she had ordered. We were starving and just wanted to eat at that point. But we politely inquired why it took so long to get our food. The lady said they were slammed, they were super busy. Big. Fat. Lie. They were not busy. At all. We know what busy is for small and large restaurants. And they were nowhere near busy by any stretch of the imagination. And believe me, we had an hour and a half to look around the entire restaurants to tell exactly how not busy they were. We were so starved when the food came and when this lady gave us this jazz about being slammed that we just kept eating. We didn't feel like getting into a debate with anyone about the whole matter. She was unapologetic. We've decided to share our experience here and on trip advisor and to never ever go back. We will also tell everyone we know about this unacceptable dining experience. Oh, my pancakes and bacon and scrambled eggs were just mediocre at best. That meal was NOT worth it's menu price. Don't waste your hard earned money at this place.
** what an odd reply from the owner. To blatantly lie about there being so many tables and to also blatantly lie about the server being "stiffed." I swear to God that a tip was left. The owner is being more than dramatic and less than honest and less than honorable. She seems to have a sob story and flimsy excuse for all the less than positive feedback from many of the past customers who testified about their food and experience. My feedback is true. It's now up to others to decide whether or not to take a chance. And let's see what their...

The waitress was rude, and they canceled our order after we had already paid and requested it to go. When we returned for our order, they simply canceled it without providing any reason. We even left a $10 tip. We will never come back again. Additionally, the prices were extremely high.
Response to the owner:
We had a disappointing experience. You were not there but the waiter who assisted us was rude. When we arrived, we weren’t given menus. My husband had to get up and ask for one, and even then, the waitress made him to wait —despite a menu being right in front of her. We had to wait unnecessarily.
As for why we changed our order to-go, that’s a personal decision and not your concern. We asked if it was possible, and your staff said yes. Any miscommunication falls on your team, not on us. Serving a sandwich and a breakfast shouldn’t take over 30 minutes. I understand this isn’t fast food, but your staff told us it would be ready in 10 minutes. That’s why my husband returned 15 minutes later—because your waitress gave that time estimate.
Your response shows a clear lack of accountability and poor...

Tucked away in the heart of the Temple, this [Mom and Pop's] shop is the kind of place that feels like home the moment you step inside. This charming little spot, run by a warm and welcoming lady, is proof that the best food doesn’t always come from fancy kitchens—it comes from the heart.
Their star attraction? The burger. Let me tell you, this isn’t just any burger. It’s a towering masterpiece of flavor. The patty is fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, cooked to a beautiful sear on the grill. The bun, lightly toasted and buttery, holds everything together without stealing the show. And the toppings? They’re as fresh as can be, from the crisp lettuce and ripe tomatoes to the pickles!
Beyond the food, the service here is outstanding. The owner herself often make rounds to chat with customers, making you feel like part of the family. It’s the kind of personal touch that big chains just can’t replicate.
If you’re looking for a place that delivers both mouthwatering food and a side of nostalgia, this is it. Don’t just take my word for it—go treat yourself to the best burger you didn’t know you were missing.
