Always taking their phone off the hook, never even greet or acknowledge when people walk in, I know it's not just me cuz I'll be standing in there with people just waiting for someone to take their order and when they mess up your order, don't bother calling cuz well you know, the phone is not working. You literally stand in there for 10 mins or longer and trying to get someone's attention, that don't work either. They will walk right past you acting like they didn't hear you say a thing. I stopped using this one and will drive outta my way to another one. I'm about to just stop giving McDonald's my money period. I've spoken the the GM there and he don't give a crap either. They messed my food order up the last 6 times in a row and I finally contacted about it only for the GM to be like sorry. We will try harder. I do deliveries and still have to go in even tho we are supposed to call and have orders brought out, but like I said the phones are off the hook so you just go in there and stand forever not even being acknowledged. Just know if you get delivery order from this place and your driver is taking a long time it's cuz of them, not the driver. I'm about to not except orders from here just because it's a waste of time. If I spend 10-15 mins waiting for the food, that's longer it takes to complete my trips and sometimes I have more than one and that prolongs my other customers getting their food nice and hot and on time, and it also puts me behind on getting more orders. This is the worst McDonald's in temple. They need someone in charge that will make a change.
4/8/25 So I go in here to pick up an Uber eats, been going in the store for 3 and 1/2 years now picking up Uber eats and doordash orders. Of course I stood there and no one acknowledged me for about 7or 8 minutes, then a new girl asked me if I had the Uber eats, I then repeated the last three of the numbers to clarify, but then she just says the name on the order and I said yes, she asked me to confirm it I said yes I did, I get the bags and I start walking out I'm 2/3 of the way to the door, when this guy loudly says, can you confirm the order, in which I didn't understand why he was saying it kind of like I was refusing to confirm the order, I told him I did confirm the order like I always do, and he proceeds to sing a little jingle out loud saying we don't need your attitude, this is just so unprofessional. First off he shouldn't be sticking his nose and things he doesn't even know what's going on. I recently been getting over being sick and lost my voice so I couldn't talk very loud. It's just crazy how this McDonald's works, was in there last week trying to order food for myself, it was originally a curbside order which I sat in my car for 30 minutes and when I got out and waited outside the store because the lobby was closed, it was a total of 50 minutes before I received my order. Crazy how they think they can talk to anybody like they are just some great store with great service. I spoke to the manager about 15 minutes after this incident happened with the sarcastic singing employee, she said she would talk to him but we know she won't. And that's why this will continue to be the worst McDonald's in Temple. Not respectful of customers or people that are picking up...
Read moreThis review is not from a personal experience with my order but an experience with picking up for DoorDash and Uber eats. When you walk in to pick up orders, no one ever acknowledges you, you have to literally stop somebody or kind of raise your voice a little loud so that someone will hear you. On another note, I went into the store to pick up a order, I checked in with the front, let them know two different times what I was waiting on and the order number in the first 10 minutes, It appeared they had someone new because they were having to tell them what to put in the bags and how to read tickets, there was also a man standing behind me waiting on an order, I'm watching the screen and there's a few orders, and then the girl that I assume is new motion for the guy to come up and handed him a bag and he walked off out the door, I had come up to the counter too. I asked her about the bag she had just handed to him and told her again about my order. She said that that was his order and she don't know what happened to my order, I noticed on the screen that all the orders were gone. So she got the manager for me, I'm not sure the manager's name she appears to be a Hispanic woman and I only ever see her in the evenings and at night. I explained to her I think my food got handed to the wrong person and then she told me no because everybody up there always double checks, which I explained to her that I was standing right there and she didn't double check. She went to try to find the ticket and couldn't find it, and then asked if I had to order on my phone and I told her yes I do so she had another employee take a picture of my phone so she can make the order, I messaged my customer and told them that the food had gotten picked up as somebody else, they are remaking the order and apologize for any inconvenience. About 7 or 8 minutes later the manager comes up to me and starts talking to me again about it and I said so are you saying that you're not going to make the order now? And she said yeah I can't make it cuz I don't have an itemized ticket, I was trying to understand why she couldn't just make the food and fix ticket later, she was rude and not trying to do anything extra. So she basically wasted my time because not only did I wait in the restaurant for 20 to 25 minutes messing around with all this but then I had to go sit outside for 5 to 10 minutes on the phone with support and I did report the store to them. I did contact McDonald's about it but they got billions of dollars so they probably don't care, It's just really sad to see someone so lazy that they won't remake a order and use an excuse about not having a ticket, I've done management before and I don't understand why she just wouldn't remake the food. I could have got my $13 for delivering the order and not wasted 30 minutes or so there and the customer would have got their food and been happy. Apparently this manager has no problem solving skills and didn't think to just reprint out a ticket and then speak to her supervisor or superior on how to fix it in the system correctly. Read moreI am highly upset right now! Today, August 13 on Tuesday at 10:30 at night. I come to order waiting in line and they tell me that they’re only accepting mobile orders and DoorDash I get out of line. I’m making the order get back in line and they proceeded to tell me that they’re shutting down and there’s nothing to do about my order to cancel it online. I’m highly upset because I spent the money I had for the night to eat and Spent it on food I couldn’t get! I go to cancel the order and they said that the order is already being prepared that they can’t cancel it, but I was told I couldn’t get it! I asked the general managers number, and it wasn’t given to me. I was highly upset and raised my voice because I Would not have ordered if she did not tell me to get out of the line in order and then wait in line again for her to tell me she can’t complete my order at all! It takes 3 to 5 business days to get your money back canceled, but it will not allow me to cancel! Customer service here! Then tells me she doesn’t like the tone I’m well I don’t like the fact that I spent money that you told me to spend that I can’t even get now so now I’m going home after 10 hour shift...
