Here are all of the drinks/food that I've tried at this cafe: -iced americano -iced matcha eispanner -iced pumpkin pie eispanner -jeju orange coffee (comes iced only) -iced holiday special drink: JOY (biscoff cookie latte) -chili cheese palmier -all of the cookies (ube is my favorite)
Firstly, every corner of the cafe is "instagrammable" - neutral tones throughout, minimalistic, warm lights throughout. Their seating arrangement and friendly staff make you feel like you're enjoying your coffee at your friend's home rather than an industrial cafe.
In terms of the drinks, my go-to is the iced americano - I drink black iced americanos daily and the americanos here have a nice balance of acidity, citrus, and chocolate notes. I typically don't like super bitter/citrusy americanos, so the beans that they use to make their americanos here are the perfect balance for me.
Every now and again, I like to get their specialty drinks and I totally understand how the price tag can give people sticker shock. I recently ordered their 2023 holiday drink: JOY which is a cookie batter latte and with oatmilk, the total was $8.80. However, as someone who used to work at Starbucks, I saw how a drink from Starbucks can cost up to $10+ just to try to mimic half the flavor/taste of this drink. You can just tell how much love and thought went into making their drinks here. Honestly, their other specialty drinks like the iced matcha eispanner, jeju orange iced coffee are all such treats. The cream that they use in their eispanner is seriously on another level - not too sweet, but sweet enough + goes so well with their respective bases.
All in all, I love this cafe and I just wish it was closer to where I live so I can frequent...

What a hidden gem! 🌟 *Awe and Wonder Café, lives up to its name, this locally-owned spot brings serious charm, creativity, and *next-level coffee to the heart of Tenafly.
Let’s start with the ❣️cold foam💕I’m not being dramatic when I say it’s the BEST I’ve ever had. Smooth, creamy, and just the right touch of sweetness that floats like a cloud on top of your drink. ✨
One of the most unique drinks on the menu is the Orange Black Coffee, a refreshing Korean-inspired creation that pairs espresso with fresh orange juice and peel. Sounds unusual, but it’s shockingly good, bright, citrusy, and perfect for hot days!
They’ve got a carefully curated menu featuring everything from specialty lattes, (matcha, honey lavender, brown sugar) to fresh pastries (try the Bluberry Muffin!) and light bites. Try the croffle (croissant + waffle = delicious) or one of their egg sandwiches if you're hungry.
The vibe is minimalist and cozy, with great seating for catching up with friends or just having a solo coffee moment. It’s clear the owners put their heart into every detail—from the menu to the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Seriously, if you’re in or around Tenafly and love coffee, this is a must-try. Hands down the best coffee in...
Read moreThat was one delicious Matcha Einspanner! Missing this place already as I write this review.
It was my first time trying that drink and I really enjoyed it. The sweet cream was perfect and balanced well with the whole drink. Even the coco powder was good lol Their Peace coffee was lovely too! The added “actual” smoked rosemary was a very nice touch and made the drink aesthetically pleasing - loved the smokiness it brought. My first rosemary latte was when we visited Portland and so Im happy to enjoy another drink here.
The indoor decor was nice and clean and had that minimalist vibe which worked. It’s good to know the cafe can cater both small and larger groups as they have a bigger table available. There is both street parking and a lot at the back as well which was convenient.
The pastries that we had were also very good. Hopefully I could try the rest but so far we enjoyed our canele and madeleine. Nice and polite interaction with staff too (whom I guess was the owner?). Cant...
