Crafty Crust Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Tequesta

Ok so I get that everyone loves Crafty Crust their Pizza is great. However what is not great is their service. I want to share with you my last experience I had. It was a Friday night and buddy and I want some pizza. Knowing their busy we first tried call to put an order in. NO luck they did not answer the phone. So then we went over there to place the order. After 10 minutes of try to flag down a waitress to place an order, we are told that they are very busy so it will be 40 minutes and we need to pay now. Again we really like there pizza so we said sure ok, we even added a tip. So after kill 40 minutes we come back to get our pizza. Again we have to wait 10 -15 minutes for a waitress. When we do get one we inquire about our pizza, she asks and finds that are pizza has not been started yet and it would be another 2 1/2 hours before we could get a pizza. We could not get the one we paid for because they where out of toppings for that type of pizza. So after explained to them we were not going to wait they gave us must of our money back. They gave us the money back for the pizza less the $5 tip we gave the waitress. So I guess my point is this. A Delicious eating Experience. It was 30 minutes before closing, I went into Crafty Crust and spoke with Mateo. I asked if they had time to serve a party of seven and Mateo happily said, of course! Mr. Pedro came to take the drink order and it arrived quickly. We ordered a dozen garlic knots, they were toasty on the outside and soft on the inside 😋 with a serving of red sauce and garlicky olive oil all around. Very tasty just like we like it. We ordered two gluten free white sauce personal pizzas 🍕 kind of small but good. We ordered one large Pizza Pie with chicken barbecue and the other side pepperoni 🍕 WOW ! And we order another large Pizza Pie half pepperoni and half cheese Simply DELICIOUS 🤤. Crunchy bottom, semi crunchy crust with the perfect texture cheese! Tasted like NEW YORK CITY PIZZA 🍕! Mr. Mateo is an excellent Pizza Chef, very polite and friendly. And Mr. Pedro very courteous and knowledgeable and accommodated all of my family’s food requests. Ohh ! If you like Greek food try there “Dolmas” Grape leaves stuffed with seasoned rice, paired with tzatziki dip ! Great customer service and delicious food. And they give discounts to Military Veterans. We came for the first time tonight to try the pizza as we are huge pizza fanatics. The decor and plants outside seemed so inviting when we have passed by on our shopping trips.

Unfortunately we were ignored for the first 10 or so mins of sitting (and the place is not very big at all) no one greeted , smiled , or even acknowledged us. We were about to leave but then the waiter/bartender came after he made eye contact with my husband. He took our order but then disappeared .. never came back to check if we needed anything (after the food arrived) I guess he got cut and left but then nobody took care of us after that. I went to the bar to order another drink and close our tab. No “thank you” or anything.

I have worked in the service industry , and personally I always at least acknowledge someone even if I can’t get to them right away. It wasn’t even busy .. it just seemed like no one wanted to serve us. I usually over tip as well but I only left the normal tip because it was such a WEIRD experience . We will not be back .

I will say that pizza and salad were GOOD though, so I suggest just...
