The parking lot was quite full and most of the tables inside the restaurant were occupied. Fortunately we were able to be seated right away. Cackleberries seems to be quite a popular place for the locals. I ordered the turkey manhattan with a side of broccoli cheddar soup, and my wife ordered the gyros platter with a side salad. The turkey manhattan was pretty tasty, although the mashed potatoes appeared to be somewhat translucent and of the instant variety, which was a little bit of a disappointment, but it didn't affect too much the flavor of the meal. The broccoli cheddar soup was very hot when it arrived, but it had a good flavor. The gyros platter wasn't quite what my wife expected, but it was still really delicious. She wasn't sure how to eat it--she had expected the cold vegetables to be diced or divided so they would be easier to put onto the pitas, but they weren't. However, the taste was super good. It came with Greek potatoes, which was half of a potato with some type of seasoning that was really good. There was a sign in the restaurant saying that the servers preferred cash tips, so we left cash on the table when we were finished.

Delicious. We're not from the area, but wanted to grab some breakfast while driving through. The decision to stop here was a great one. We had a Vegetarian Skillet, a Taco Wrap, French Toast, and Blueberry Pancakes. Everything was delicious. The skillet had a good ratio of vegetables to hashbrowns to eggs. The taco wrap wasn't heavy, it was very light but also very good (how is it possible for taco flavors to be light?!). The french toast was good, just a little bit eggy. The only complaint i had was the pancakes, but then again, i am very spoiled when it comes to pancakes. If everything else is delicious, i will take less than perfect pancakes. The staff was very nice as well, and the whole place seems super friendly. Would recommend.

This breakfast and lunch joint is a must-stop if you're driving by on 70! We stopped for some breakfast/lunch and were not disappointed. The place was packed upon arrival but we were seated within 5 minutes. Service was fantastic. I got the vegetarian skillet which comes with a side- veggies over hash browns covered in cheese. My partner got the pork chop sandwich which also came with a side and soup. We were impressed and the whole meal was under $25 combined! Keep it up, Cackleberries!

Nothing Special About This Place At All.

A Mimetic Architectural Building Structure That Are Often Seen In Sci-Fi Movies.

The Food Is Not Alway's Fresh Or Cooked Properly.

The Menu Offering's Are Not Very Moderate Priced Some Offering's Are Pricey.

In My Honest Opinion They Are.

We Were Told The Staff Are Sometime's Very Nice Here& Are Very Helpful With Menu Suggestion's.

We Didn't Get The Nice One's During The Visit.

The Waitress/Server's Often Have A Attitude Problem.

They Rush People That Are Trying To Decide On What To Order..

Apparently They Don't Have Any Patience With Their New Customer's At All.

Especially The One's That Are Passing Through The Town& Are New To The Place Like Me&My BF.

We Didn't Really Appreciate Being Told To "Hurry Up" When Trying To Order From The Server. Kinda Rude.

Not Very Professional.

Don't Waste Your Time Or Gas Visiting.

Don't Get Me Wrong.. I've Heard Alot Of Great Thing's About This Place..

Gave It A Chance&Had A Bad Experience.

Won't Be Returning Here After We Encountered A Very Rude Staff With An Attitude Problem&Basically Has Severe Impatient Issue's,

When Serving The New Customer's That Decided To Try Out The Place.

&The Food That Folk's That Are Local Often Brag About After They Visit Here.

Updated::

Even Though We Vowed To Never Return After What We Encountered 3 Month's Ago.

While In Town Visiting Some Friend's Recently.

We Decided To Give It A 2nd Chance Visit.

Still Has A Moderate&Pricey Menu.

Still Has Rude Waitresses.

After Seated&Ordering.. Took Awhile For The Food.

After Food Was Brought Out. She Didn't Check On Us To See If We Needed Anything.

I Was Unimpressed By The Lacking Of Her Attentive Waitress Skills.

We Was Seated Not Very Far From An Older Gentleman, That Wore A Hearing Aid.

His Waitress Was Horrible To Him. The Way She Treated Him..

Let's Just Say That I Was Sickened By Her Attitude&Her Action's.

We Only Had Afew Bites Before Leaving Because It Wasn't Exactly Eatworthy

Wasted $ For This:: Cold Food. Intentionally Ignored By Waitress&Witnessed Another Being Cruel To A Deaf Person.

We Shouldn't Have Given Cackleberries A 2nd Chance.

No Improvement's Within The Last 3 Month's Since Our First...

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but I had such a bad experience I’ve decided I must. I walked in with my girlfriend over a week ago and had high expectations due to the positive reviews. The lady at the counter made eye contact with me and I moved out of the way of the door since there were other people trying to enter. For some reason, she ignored my girlfriend and I and took down the names of the young college kids behind us - all three of them. As they were all being seated ahead of us, I made a comment that maybe we should have just stopped at the door. She pretended she had just noticed us then and had a waitress seat us without asking if we wanted a booth or table. The waitress thus assumed (wrongly) that we wanted a table near the center of the restaurant next to a very loud, unruly couple. I was displeased and my girlfriend could tell it so she kindly requested a booth for us. For those who are not from the area, Cackleberries is within walking distance of the local college and all the bars and pubs that have sprang up to water those students. So almost the entirety of the guests are college kids, and unfortunately most of them are loud, vulgar, and inconsiderate. After we ate our food, which I admit was good, I had to then wait in line for about 15 minutes to pay my bill. This was due to college kids paying separately instead of pooling their money and paying in a lump sum, or designating a payor. Overall it was not a pleasant experience. I will not be back and do...

I was really excited about trying this place, because I've heard their food was really good. I was there on Veterans Day and the place was very busy. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by a very unhappy employee. She was very vocal about how dissatisfied she was by other employees. I wasn't sure if I seated myself or waited as she stared she wasn't to other people's jobs and seating customers. Now I've worked in the restaurant business and I know it can be very hectic, but if you're the first person greeting customers you need to be upbeat even when you're not. My waiter was very busy and rushed to take orders and deliver food. I am a veteran so I asked if there were specials, his reply was no. All good, I don't expect anything for free. I received my food very quickly despite the big crowd which was really nice. And the food was delicious, however my waiter was so busy he only returned once after I received my food to give me my check. I'm not totally blaming him for the lack of service, but I believe they were understaffed. I'm only writing this review because I'm wanting the owners to see that there are staffing issues and that starts with them. The food was delicious, but maybe show a little honor to those that gave so much for your country. Even a free coffee...
