Greek's Pizzeria - Downtown Terre Haute — Restaurant in Terre Haute

If I could give 0 stars to the wait staff, I would. I can’t even rate the pizza, because after a 2 hour ordeal, we never got ours. The manager was informed about 1 hour into our ordeal that we had witnessed multiple tables of people arriving, some up to 20-30 minutes after us, being seated, served food, and leave. All the while we hadn’t even received the side salad that we had ordered to try and keep our 2 year old occupied while we waited. We were assured that our food would be “right out”. After another 45 minutes, we had given up the hope of having pizza, and we decided we would go eat elsewhere and asked for the check for what we had already received (the salad). After another 15 minutes, we had to go stand at the counter to ask for the check again. The check still included the pizza on it, and multiple items that were never ordered. When we brought this to the attention of the cashier, she began to act rude and to raise her voice with us. She acted as if we were lying about the pizza and trying to steal from them. They did end up taking the pizza off the bill, but not the other miscellaneous things they charged us for (sauces, a $2.49 drink - we had tap water). Instead of arguing further over the sound of my crying 2-year-old, we just opted to pay the bill and leave. We will not be back and I would definitely not...

I’d give 0 Stars if it was a possibility. My elderly grandmother ordered a pizza went to pick it up it down at the south location, was told it was ordered at the downtown location, she’s not internet savvy when googling Greeks the downtown one is the only one that comes up. Mind you she is a 78 year old elderly woman they told her they would not make her a pizza she needed to retrieve it from downtown she’s living in the senior community right across the street from the south location and walked to pick up her dinner. She was very upset as they would not let her order at all even something different from the original order. She understands she made a mistake but for them to completely disregard her and not even try to help make any money from a sale they turned her away. I called and spoke to the “owner” who ended up hanging up on me when asking for her name, Very professional kept saying it was an issue that happened all the time so they won’t help her. It sounds like Greek pizzeria has an obvious issue if it “happens all the time” and has done nothing to fix it. We will NEVER be back and will be reporting to the BBB. Now your out of the money and my gram has a hot fresh pizza from papa John’s...

Probablly the worst experience i've ever had at a restaurant. Arrived at approx 6pm. After waiting a while, someone finally came and took our drink order. They never returned to take our food order, so a member of our party had to track someone down. No one ever came to refill drinks either, so we were left with refilling our own. I ordered a side salad, and had to ask for it again about 30mins after our food order. Another member of our party hadn't received their wings either, and had to ask about them too. We didn't receive those and 2/3 pizzas until approx 2 HOURS after we arrived. They completely forgot to make 1 of our pizzas, and we didn't want to wait around for it to arrive. We were all very frustrated with their lack of organization and service. Most restaurants would have at least thrown in a discount to make up for it, but not this place. The cashier rudely yelled out the items that were on the bill when we were told the total, which seemed ridiculously high for what we got.
