McDonald's — Restaurant in Terre Haute

I don't usually post reviews but I felt like I should I don't know what is wrong with the managers at this particular McDonalds but they are highly abusive to the employees. I come to this McDonald's a lot and every time I do whether it's drive-thru or I come in I see the employees stressed out and upset.there has been two or three times I have come through the drive-thru and the very nice girl working it is crying and all upset. She always says she is too slow and has to hurry up. And when I come in to the store I see a lot of the employees being screamed at and downgraded by the managers.I have seen two or three of the employees run out of the store crying I have seen them run to the back crying. I don't understand how these managers still have a job with how abusive they are. I have literally heard one of the managers call an employee stupid to her face. The worst manager of them all is the bigger manager that works in the mornings shes beyond worst to the employees. The managers are so overwhelmed that they take it out on the staff. And the staff are so overwhelmed that they can't get the orders right. The whole store is falling apart the walkway on the side of the drive-thru when you come in the roofs caving in and dangling in front of the window. This whole store needs new management and a facelift bad.I'm so tired of seeing the staff upset that I am not coming back to this McDonald's again!!! My 5 year old son doesn't need to see or hear all of that drama it is completely ridiculous!!!!! The last time we came in he asked me why the employee was crying?! What am I supposed to say to that!? This is THE WORST McDonald's in all of Terre Haute. I don't know what they are doing wrong exactly, because I don't run restaurants, but something is pathetically wrong. Every single time I go by, the line is extremely long, and doesn't seem to be moving along at the speed of most McDonald's. This tells me that it's something going on inside that is slowing them down. Recently, they boarded over their screens at the drive-thru, and I really like the screens and being able to verify your order is correct. This is the only McDonald's I know of that has been allowed to get rid of their screens. Also, every time I have gotten something there this year, there has been something wrong. Missing items, regular sandwich instead of plain, or just made wrong. This morning was my final straw. Literally and figuratively. I sat at the drive-thru for nearly 5 minutes before someone even responded, I ordered, and then sat there another 5 before the line moved at all. When I looked around the corner, there was a car sitting at the first window waiting to pay that whole time. Something is off here. In contrast, they need to take a note from the manager and find out what they are doing over at the McDonald's located at 3032 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN. It is crazy that just a mile or two away you have a McDonald's running so differently. At the Wabash location, the staff is much friendlier, VERY friendly actually, and there are many more adults working, and the staff hired seem very decent. FREE VACANCY! Mc casa, you casa Surrounded by creatures! Had two homeless people getting in a fight over a sandwich from the trash can. Both the male and female restrooms are clean but need renovation badly. There’s toilet paper in a hole in the wall. The lobby was freezing so bad when I walked in i was shivering. Then to top it off, had a man ask me for 5 bucks while I was with my kids eating. This restaurant seems to be a great homeless shelter! 10/10 keep the homeless people happy! There was three sleeping in a couple booths by the Restrooms. One was watching a movie on a flip up DVD player from the early 2000’s, blasting forest gump, I will admit I watched over the gentlemen’s shoulder, since the tv was gone in the restaurant for some reason. One of the homeless people grabbed a drink cup from the trash, went into the bathroom with it and came back out drying it out with toilet paper, then threw the tp on the ground. I immediately ventured over to the pop machine to see if he’d use the cup. Not only did he use it, he used it wisely. The man put the cup underneath the ketchup spout and began filling his cup up. Grabbing salt and pepper and putting it in it right there. At that point I wanted to go home and clean my clothes how disgusting I felt. But then he pulled a metal spoon out of backpack. And started eating it. I walked out and left my food there. My kids don’t need to be around this crowd. Disgusting, it’s been like this the last several times...
