Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Terre Haute

I love papa johns and have never had an issue with any other store location before but this one is the worst. I am current student at the university near this one and pizza is the go to thing my roommate and I order when we are busy with a lot of school work because its easy for us. Tonight she ordered from them around 9pm and it was a very basic order. Her order tracker told her it would be delivered around 9:30pm. 10pm hits and she never received her food. She called the store multiple time, 20 to be exact, and no one answered a single call. She checked her online tracker and it still said her order was being boxed. It is now around 11pm and she never received her food and still no one will answer her calls. As much as we both love papa johns, our business will be taken elsewhere. My friend Ordered 9 pizzas for a small gathering they were having. Delivered in a timely manner, however two pizzas were missing. After being on hold for 30 min and not getting through or only going to their call center we volunteered to go pick up the pizza. Upon walking in all employees were hustling and the phone didn’t stop ringing the entire time we were there. Very friendly employees and a very helpful manager. He explained they were extremely short staffed and to focus on getting orders done they let the falls roll over to the call centers. He immediately got our order fixed and threw in an extra pizzas for the inconvenience. Although the initial order had items left out of the delivery the way the store handled fixing it earns them a 5 star review. The worse pizza in Terre Haute by far. The sauce is hideous and tastes sour at times, the crust is dry and tasteless and the toppings have no flavor. In addition the pizzas or extras are either not cooked well enough or are overdone. In addition the toppings are hit and miss. Sometimes you get a good amount of toppings and sometimes you don't get any even if you ask for extra. I will give one experience that turned me off to Papa Johns and this store and it was not a pizza order. I ordered bacon cheese sticks. When I received the order there was an excessive and I mean an excessive amount on the bacon sticks. Heck there was more cheese than what is on a pizza with extra cheese. This excessive cheese made the bacon sticks inedible. So my advice is avoid this store and Papa Johns. It is the worse...
