22 March 2018 - 12:30 p.m. - (In the 1970s I was a frequent Wendy's customer, but the erroneous orders were too frequent, and it became too tedious to try to be a customer and do inventory of each order, then go through the correction process.) But once again, even though reluctant to do so, I went inside this location. Almost no customers in store. After placing the order, we waited about ten minutes for our carry-out order. We got in our truck, did an inventory of our food, and of course, someone there did not put my Chicken Wrap in there, but instead, I received a greasy "loaded" hamburger... (The receipt did indeed have the chicken wrap on there, so? ) IMHO - There is some type of problem with the ways in which your corporate order processing procedure works as this type of repeated errors of incorrect contents of orders is too frequent to be simple mistakes. The reason I had not been to any Wendy's for almost a decade is that corporate-wide they seem unable to correctly complete even the simplest of orders. And the drive-up service is notoriously erroneous (and why we went inside on 22 March 2018) The bottom line, we were in a hurry, this "fast food" service was already incredibly slow, and for me to go back inside and wait another ten minutes to get my chicken wrap that I paid for is not acceptable. So, we got back on US41 South, I ate the hamburger I did not order, and this review is the result. Maybe in another decade, I might go back into another...
Read moreI have been to this Wendy's several times over the last two months. Everytime I've gone the service has been subpar, but I usually got my food so I didn't complain. But today that's not what happened. After pulling up I ordered 2 items for the 2 for 5 deal and a large coke. When I got to the window the cashier stated it was over $10 as I handed her the card. Before she closed the window I asked if they were no longer honoring the 2 for 5 deal, which I can see a window ad for from where I was sitting. She did not answer me, and I could hear racial slurs coming from other employees after she turned to them. Then she opened the window and said my card did not work. She never swiped it. So after I caught them stealing, they called out racial slurs and refused to serve me. I went next door to another fast food place and the card worked fine and I managed to get through without being called names. If this is what Wendy's stands for you have lost my business at all locations. But I don't believe that it is Wendy's fault but a few individuals who clearly don't know how to act in the workplace, and are actively stealing from customers. I most definitely will not be returning to that location and will let others know about...
Read moreMy sister went to this restaurant and ordered a hamburger and found a giant rolled up hair in the middle of the hamburger. It was a big black hair. When she called to let them know that there was a giant black hair in their hamburger they offered to give her another free hamburger. My sister declined because honestly, who wants to eat another hamburger when there's already been a giant hair found in the first one. Hard telling what will be in the next hamburger. They had to throw their food away because knowing that the level of cleanliness involved with producing this food made them not able to eat the rest of it. No refund was offered by the restaurant, just a replacement hamburger. Which is disgusting. My sister suggested they start wearing hair nets when making food to avoid mistakes like this in the future. The lady informed her that they wear hats. Maybe just wearing hats is not good enough since the hair is still fighting its way in our food. Food is way too expensive just to have to throw away nowadays. Maybe take a little bit more pride in what...
