I was attempting to order from the new Texarkana location. I went to the Texarkana Facebook page, clicked about and then the website link that it supplied for online ordering. When the order processed my charge I saw it was the Longview location and not the Texarkana location. I immediately called the Longview location. The girl that answered said she would take care of it and cancel the order. I have been checking this week and the charge went from pending to posted. So she never cancelled the order - or at least didn't cancel the charge. I called and spoke with the manager Ariel? today in Longview. He was very dismissive and difficult to deal with. I didn't know whether it was a visa or master card at that second and basically he told me he couldn't look it up! I had the receipt, with the receipt number, the last four digits of the credit card, the name, address, phone number, etc. I don't appreciate being stolen from like this. I have started a dispute with my credit card company as a result. Why would you want to put a customer through something like this? After the first call to the store on June 15th, I called the Texarkana store and made my order on the same credit card. You can see these charges ten minutes apart. One in Longview two hours from me and the new location in Texarkana. Clearly I wouldn't be ordering from two locations over two hours apart. I need my funds back $57.31
And going forward - the experience at the new Texarkana location was horrible. I made a phone order at 8:38 PM June 15th - she said it would be ready at 9 PM. I didn't expect that since it was the first week of them being open. But what I didn't expect was to sit there in their parking lot until nearly ten pm. At 9 PM I received a text stating our order was ready. I waited five minutes and called to ask about it again. They said it wasn't ready. I called them three times while I sat there. Nearly an hour later they brought out the order. An hour and a half after I made the initial order. No apologies. I asked her if that order had been sitting there for an hour. She said no, " see the bottom of the bag is hot". Look I've owned restaurants in the past. I know what heat lamps are for. Well the chicken wings were soggy. The vegetables on the burger were completely wilted. The burger was barely warm. Bun was soggy. It appears they replaced the onion rings as they were still sort of crispy. The chicken fried chicken was disgusting. She said that was the reason the order was so late -- waiting on the cfc.. BS. It didn't look at all like that depicted n the website. It was flattened - just a huge chewy piece of chicken that I am pretty sure was composed of meat glue. On top of this they didn't include the extra fries that I ordered and paid for. For $53 I wasted an hour and a half on food we couldn't stomach to eat. Actually at this point if you count the Longview situation $110 !!!! No I haven't called the manager at that location and after my experience calling the Longview location manager - no thanks. We will never return and will be sure to let everyone know how...
Read moreI tried to post on Texarkana cheers and Jeers and apparently they didn't wanna post it so here goes. First off everyone from the moment you enter the doors are so friendly. We told the hostess how many people she asked if we mind sitting at a bar and we had our kids with us and asked if we can have a booth instead. She said yes ma'am and guided us to one. We sat down and within a few minutes was greeted by MIKE he jumped right in asking us what we would like to drink we told him and then asked for a minute or so to figure out what we were getting. When he came back with our drinks we ordered the combo appetizer and a spinach dip and asked for time for our full course meals. We figure out what we want and we get out appetizers. He is constantly moving, checking on us with a smile and making sure we don't need anything and that everything tastes good. My daughter tells me about the birthday shout out they do there and my son turns 17 on the 18th of this month so I tell Mike we are there to celebrate my son. Well our meals are delivered, everything is hot, it tastes great, we just got so full on appetizers. We eat what we can of our meals and ask for togo containers. My son is in the restroom at this point so I tell Mike as soon as he comes out we are ready. He got me the loudest girl known to man. Hehe yes I wanted my son to get the embarrassment a little cause he always gotta do something to embarrass me. We end up tipping Mike 30 dollars for his service cause he is worth it. And we talked to him and told him we thought he was amazing. He was having a really bad day he had said and that man never let it show not once. 10/10 highly recommend. If you want his great service see him before 5 pm. That man...
Read moreDriving from Illinois To Galveston Texas. Our hotel was very close to here and they had good reviews. When I got to the bar the bartender was very friendly and asked what I’d like to drink. I told her, and also told her I’d like to order food to go. Thought she would come back at some point to ask what I’d like to order. 25 minutes later, another bartender then came up and asked if I was doing ok, and I asked for another beer and that I’d like to put my order in. The original girl brought my beer, dropped it off and walked away. All the while there were “regulars” sitting next to me that got consistent service from the same girl, and as she was making drinks for the restaurant she would be joking around with the servers and having a grand time. Have fun at work? Absolutely, but take care of your customers first. Approximately 20 minutes later a manager came up to the “regulars” and asked if everything was ok, then turn towards me and asked. I told him I’d like to put in a to go order, nobody came back. Meanwhile my 4 year old and wife are still waiting on their food. Once I was FINALLY able to get the bartenders attention I cashed out and went across the street. First time in my life I’ve left a $0 tip. Very disappointing. This could be a great establishment, but attention to detail and your customers...
