One of our local coworkers recommended us to try Tacos 4 Life. It is a part of restaurant chain and slowly making its way further south. We came in around 8:30 pm and they close at 9 pm but they told us to come on into the dining area of the restaurant instead of us ordering at the drive thru. We definitely appreciated that instead of us bringing our food back to hotel to eat. (My coworker and I are from out do town.)
Great customer service (Mary was awesome! Seriously, my coworker and I had met her for the first time today and she was a blast!). No one gave us the stink eye for coming so late either.
Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere was nice and cozy but there’s plenty of space between tables that don’t make it seem crowded (in my opinion). It looked very clean inside. There’s an outside picnic table patio area with some games if you wanted to eat in fresh air. It’s also sort of fenced so less likely for the kids to wander off.
The food came out pretty quickly. (Probably because we were the only people in the dining area and it was close to closing time. We did see a couple more customers come in a little timer after did though.)
The tacos were delicious. Between the two of us, we ordered the mango habanero, Korean bbq, fried chicken, and blackened mahi-mahi. We thought they all tasted delicious. I also enjoyed my side of the Mexican street corn. I don’t know which side my coworker ordered but I’m assuming it was delicious because it was all gone.
You CANNOT forget to get the watermelon and strawberry drink. We saw one of the workers drinking it pretty happily. It’s non-alcoholic and all ages can enjoy it. It tasted super refreshing and we ended up getting a refill on it before we left after eating.
Overall, great dining experience. The staff was friendly and had great recommendations on what to order. They also support a cause to end world hunger one taco at a time. For every taco meal ordered, a meal is also donated to those in hunger. It was an excellent dinner for sure. We will definitely be back to try some other tacos when we come...
Read moreWe absolutely love this place and make a point to come back every time we’re in town. We’ve eaten here many times—sometimes even 10 or 15 times during a single trip—and it never disappoints.
My wife has to eat gluten-free and is very selective about where she feels comfortable. This restaurant is one of the few places that consistently meets her high standards. The gluten-free options are excellent, and the staff is always careful, knowledgeable, and genuinely accommodating. It gives us real peace of mind when dining out.
The food is always delicious, the service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance: energetic enough that a little kid noise isn’t an issue, but still quiet enough to enjoy a real conversation. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, free and easy parking, and a consistently welcoming vibe.
One of the things that truly sets this place apart is their commitment to giving back. They donate a significant portion of their profits to help feed hungry children—and they don’t just do it quietly, they’re genuinely proud of it. You can tell it’s a core part of who they are, not just a marketing point. It feels good supporting a business that not only serves great food but also cares deeply about making a difference.
Highly, highly recommend—both for the food and the...
Read moreWas excited to see the name... Never seen this chain and the first 3 times I came the line was long cause it was NEW... I don't believe I'll have that problem any longer. It's JUST a fast food taco place. Nothing special at all. No cabrito, no true Mexico street tacos, just a step above taco Bell. Doubtful if I ever come back. I got the basic beef tacos plate. Came with two tacos and a side. I chose lime rice.... Just bland rice with a dried up lime and some very wierdo green stuff on top. I was very hungry so I ate it. Now, the tacos. They were greasy but not dripping, and the meat had a season that gave me instant heartburn. If you read many review from me I LOVE Mexican food and eat it everywhere, but favor south Texas TexMex. Anyway they we're ok but at almost 9 dollars and no drink I'll skip it next time. Not impressed but I'm sure I'll give it one more try and get a...
