I have no idea how they have a rating of 4+. Are you kidding me!!!!. Let me paint a picture for you.... been driving for over 8hrs, stop and get a hotel and ready to unwind and eat some good food with the family and embrace the "southern hospitality" us northerners have heard of... so we walked across the parking lot to Red lobster. We know the menu and shouldn't be to long and we should have good food. We walk in and are greeted by a very pleasant lady who took us to our table. Shortly after we were greeted by our server who greeted us and was very friendly. We ordered drinks and looked through the menu, 20 mins go by still no drinks, but we now know what we want. Still no server, we notice a couple come in and sit behind us, we noticed because the lady had a strong Texas draw in her voice( it was super cute). Finally we get our drinks and we order our food. We chat it up and enjoy our drinks and before we know it 45 mins has past since we ordered our food and we are on our 3 basket of biscuits, when we notice the people who came in 20 mins after us are getting thier check. Like wait how did they get thier food and finish already when we havent recieved anything. Mind u our server has apologies twice and said the kitchen is behind and our food is in the window. We look around and there is maybe 15 tables max with customers. So we say sure can we get another drink while we wait. And wait is exactly what we did. So I went to the front to ask for a manager, it is now been over an hour since we ordered. Not since we sat down since we ordered our food. I spoke with the manager and she said she would check on it for me. I said thank you. I sit down wait about 5 mins and food starts coming out. Well my food was cold and not cooked properly, wifes food half was cold half was Luke warm (not how you want seafood) sons was hot but flavorless for most part. So we get ready to dig in and low and behold we have steaks but no steak knives, we have crab legs but no fork or claw cracker and no butter, etc. so the manager comes over and asks how everything is. I explain to her the many issues. She softly says I'm sorry I'll make you more. I said I dont want more, I'm just ready to go. It has now been an hour and half since we ordered and we watched people who came in after us eat and leave. I'm so irritated at this point I'm not even hungry . She says they are comping our entire meal. I inform her thats not what I want.im willing to pay for what we had, I just want to make sure no one else has to deal with this. And that something is wrong in thier process. But It's not my place to figure that out. She was very polite and said well your meal is free. So I went 8 hours with out eating then when I came to eat, I waited over an hour and was served food i couldnt eat but you want to comp. the meal you incorrectly made.... Anyway, when we left I left money on the table to pay for our drinks because even though they were slow to come out they were correct and I'm not one to take free meals. I drank the drinks so I'll pay for them.Especially but I didnt eat so I still loose. So in closing after this rant. If you are passing theou texarkana and want a meal to eat in a fairly timely manner and cooked properly AVOID this place. Thier system is broken and you will waste 2 hrs of your life only to leave, still hungry. I sure hope this isnt a representation of the rest of Texas. Because if it is I'm sorry Texas but this red lobster just did you a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMid July 2025 I was so excited to see the Red Lobster here in TXK is still here and open for business. It is awesome to hear that Red Lobster was able to come out of bankruptcy. š¤ Hopefully my city I reside in will consider opening another Red Lobster. I miss dinning at my local one that was unfortunately one of the locations chosen to close. My go-to and favorite menu item is the lunch deal among a couple other items, fun adult cocktails such as berry mangorita/ flavored margarita or bahama-mama or pinacolada. To appetizers like the fried calamari, the crab rangoon stuffed shrimp, crispy dragon shrimp, stuffed mushrooms to just name a few from the top of my head. My favorite classic dishes to include the ultimate feast, the parrot isle jumbo coconut shrimp served w/ pina colada sauce for dipping, or the bar harbor lobster bake w/ the noodles served on the side (but not all the time) etc. and some of the yummy sides available. But my all time go-to lunch is the unlimited soup, salad and cheddar bay biscuits. Unfortunately, the soy ginger sauce they topped their soy-ginger salmon w/ was replaced with a thicker teriyaki type of sauce. With that said the original soy-ginger sauce was my choice of dressing and no longer offered. I have to say I prefer the soy ginger sauce becauze the texture wasn't so thick and syrupy and the flavor was very pleasant. The new sauce is a similar consistency to molasses and the flavor just isn't where it use to be. Hopefully in the future they will bring back that sauce along w/ the ahi poke' appetizer that disappeared around covid. Let's all manifest it and put it out in the universe. Other than that I look forward to returning to this restraunt whenever...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe worst experience we have ever had. If I could give a negative number rating I would. Tonight was the worst experience we have ever had at Red lobster. The lack of professionalism from the staff, manager along with the delay and getting our food which ended up being spoiled made this unacceptable. We first waited 28 minutes just to have someone come by to take our drink order and get it wrong. We should have known to leave when a customer who was leaving leaned over and told me check your ticket before you leave. When the server brought us our drinks she served my husband the wrong drink and did not bring the biscuits that you normally get that everyone loves. We asked our hostess if she could get our server to bring us the correct drink and biscuits and that we were very unhappy with our service. The hostess proceeded to bring us our drink and told us there was an issue with the kitchen being back ordered and she would get us our biscuits when they were ready. We waited another 20 minutes and saw other tables getting their biscuits so I went to the hostess and asked if someone could get us the biscuits we were promised. The hostess' response was "my bad." When our order came out another 30 plus minutes later we did not receive our sides. We then had to wait for our sides to be brought to us. Also my husband told the manager his scallops were bad. The Manager's response was she didn't like those either. I told her they are spoiled and to make sure the are not serving those or someone might get sick. To say we were disappointed would be a drastic understatement. I will have to think long and hard before I go back to the Red lobster...
