Adrians Mexican Street Food — Restaurant in Texas

Today we dined at this location after hearing that it was good on Instagram and the cool things they have on their menu. It looked fun and we were excited to try and drove from 45 min away. The food was average. I've had better or worse, but the real disappointment was the horrendous service. We usually don't expect much. The moment we walked in we were not greeted. It was me and my wife and my 3 kids and one other. They only had small tables to fit 4 at so the waiter approaches and had us follow him and goes to the manager who's sitting at a table and tells the waiter (in spanish, which my husband understands) that they had a reservation for a large party at 6 in the area he asked if he could seat us. We arrived at 4. The waiter just looked confused like so where do you want me to seat them while she continued rolling napkins and we're standing there waiting to be seated. It seemed like it was an inconvenience. Like we were disturbing them at their hangout. They finally put 2 of the small tables together to seat us. It then takes about 15 min to get our drink order while all the staff was huddled around the bar talking, watching a soccer game, eating, and drinking. When they brought the drinks, they each had 2 cubes of ice, and 2 diet Pepsis were flat. When we returned it, the waitress took it and then brought it back informing us the carbonation machine for that one beverage was broken and set the 2 drinks back on the table and asked if we're ready to order food. She didn't apologize or ask if there was anything else those 2 in our party wanted to drink as if she thought they were just going to drink the flat soda with no carbonation. After this and our food comes out staggered, one dish at a time, every staff member at the bar stays there the entire time never once looking to see if we need a refill or anything else. Every cup on the table is empty. Our friend gets up finally to go stand at the bar to ask for another water and a beer and he stands there not being acknowledged for about 3 minutes until he just asks if he can get another water and beer. It was a very awkward atmosphere. The staff were all off and more than unfriendly. They seemed annoyed and curt. the entire aura in the place with the other customers seemed tense. Then we get the bill. I only checked the bill to make sure we weren't charged for the drinks which we weren't so I paid and included a small tip. After leaving I noticed that we were charged for a large party gratuity of 20% on our bill as well as our friend's bill. His bill was just for him alone and mine was for a family of 5. What was the gratuity for? We didn't even get a refill. We only got something if we got up ourselves to ask for it. This is hands down the worst service I've ever...

I’ll start with the good - the food itself was really tasty, but not worth the hassle or awkward tension that the staff puts off. Kudos to the cook in the back, everyone else back to basic customer service training.

Came in this place at noon on a Saturday, there wasn’t a single customer in the place. Just two servers and one what I assume was a manager sitting at a table on his phone. Wasn’t greeted at the door, they all awkwardly stared at me in silence from across the dining room when I walked in. No one spoke, so I said hi and asked to place an order to go. The kid in blue took my order, he seemed to be having a bad day. He couldn’t smile or communicate very clearly. They also didn’t seem to have a very efficient system, it took about 10 mins just to input my single item order and pay.

The food came out about 15 mins later. I thanked the kid in blue again as he handed me the order and he didn’t respond, smile, make eye contact or anything giving off a friendly welcoming vibe most patrons look for in a restaurant environment.

I still tipped 20% despite the poor customer service.

As a business owner I’ll say this, there are too many options for tacos in a 1 mile radius to have this kind of service. I wish this location the best of luck and hope they...

I come there a lot so often and today o went to meet my husband and my brother n law. I sat there for 10 minutes and no waiter came to service me. I then seen 2 waiters serving the other customers who was there with me as well it was not a lot of people in the restaurant. I’m still waiting no one came they seen me walk in and went to serve the other couple that came in and pass me up. So I stood up and was calling the young guy he ignore me then he look up and came. Mind you the owner or boss was sitting in the booth watching everything going on not once did he get up or even see what I need he watch them look over me. As an owner or boss that was very poor bad service and customers come first at all times. So I ask my husband why they didn’t give them no chips and dip the customer sitting across from the bar was like you want so of ours I said no we are ok. I then called the waiter again and told him ready the order can he take me he say yes. I then order he kept saying this it as if he was rushing me. This was a very bad bad experience and very poor customer service and I don’t plan to return back I pray no experience this on there...
