So... While dealing with some small, not so hectic drama... We stop here at Shipley's... And thankfully they were open. Takk about a happy morning. And guess what...there was no line. Which is even more fabulous. Now, because we were early... They did not have the everything variety. So, no long john's (which are my faves) no bear claws (Jason's faves), no Bavarian cream (mine and Drew's faves), but they had all if Kat's faves... She was the happiest camper out of all of us... Oh, when we got out glazed only donuts...they weren't warm...which...ugh .. those are the best... Well, and a warm apple fritter (another fave of mine...no they didnt have out yet) so, next time .. maybe showing up 30 min later... Then i can maybe have a wonderful happy morning......
Read moreBe aware. THERE ARE THIEVES working here. I went to the drive-thru. My order was $18, but the charge settled at $22. Turns out they added $5 tip without my authorization. They gave me my receipt and it only showed the $18. I go regularly because I take donuts to clients and keep records. I checked receipts and compared against what cleared my bank and found 3 incidents where $2 to $5 was added to the charge as a tip. Since it was drive thru, I handed my card to the cashier. They swiped and handed back. I was never given the opportunity to tip or decline. That's straight up theft. I'm filing a police report and there will be an investigation because my man is a Luitenant. Imagine if this happens 100 to 300 customers...daily. That's possibly...

Took them back and told them that they did not give me the correct order and they told me they cannot do anything either the donuts and I have to re-order them and pay for them!!! I understand that for COVID but how about taking the donuts throwing them out and just giving me what initially paid for!
