I used to work at this location and had to quit because the owner, Larry, was giving me 2 hours a week. My schedule would be just Friday from 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM. I came in after the second week of this and talked to him about it. He said that I was apparently "irresponsible" just like "other kids" he had hired. I showed him a fully highlighted schedule of my entire summer for which days I was unavailable because of family vacation or summer band camp (which is mandatory for me), and he still scheduled me on 2 of these days. The second time I let him know that he scheduled me on a day I told him I couldn't work over a month before, my work schedules started to become 2 hours a week like I mentioned because he was trying to get me to quit without firing me. Not to mention, I was on "training pay" ($6 an hour without tips) for a month and a half and I constantly asked when I would go to regular minimum wage, but he always said "soon" or "when I feel like you're ready". I never got to minimum wage. Larry would yell at me in my first week of work for getting orders wrong and my coworkers would tell me stories about him screaming and getting furious over kids who spilled certain ingredients on accident. He has a temper and is impatient and was disrespectful to me and I realize now that he took advantage of me, but then was dumb enough to let me go after not checking the schedule I showed him the day I went in for my interview. This place is awful, the owner is a cheapskate and disrespectful to his employees that genuinely try their best. I would like to mention that his daughter and even Larry himself told me that if I kept working as hard as I did, I would be a team leader soon, and they make the most money and have the most responsibility. I was in no way a bad employee and I worked my ass off for $6 an hour, 6 hours a week max. Larry is irresponsible and I hope he sees this review because hundreds of people will also see this, and they'll know not to support someone as rude and greedy as Larry and his terrible business. TL;DR: The owner made me quit because of his own irresponsibility after forgetting about my schedule that I showed him a month in advance and took advantage of me as a hard-working kid trying to earn some money

A bit shocked to read the negative reviews as my experience was positive from start to finish. All signs are clear with easy to read print, older gentleman (who I assume is the owner) was the only one working and was with a drive-thru customer as I walked up. He came over and told me he’d be right with me. I agree he isn’t overly friendly but he’s pleasant enough. I ordered a cone for my son and got a free sample of ice cream for myself. I loved it, so I ordered a small cup as well. Yes it was almost $16 but the cost of things simply don’t surprise me anymore. Nice seating area to enjoy some ice cream on a lovely Monday evening. We will be back!

Made a evening run with the family for some ice cream and stopped by Bruster’s. Lots of variations around the table, but I decided to change it up and get the Strawberry Shortcake. Ok, so they make it with yellow cake that is moist and yummy, topped with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, strawberries, whipped cream and a cherry. It was really good. The staff were super nice and quick in turning the order for 6 around. We had the first orders coming out before the last of us was finished ordering or paying. Will be back. Thanks Bruster’s for a great evening treat.

10/10. My grandma has been searching for Butter Brickle ice cream for years. So many places discontinue the flavor or don’t make it well. But this place has PERFECT and I mean PERFECT Butter Brickle. You can tell in all of the ice creams that it’s real. There is no weird aftertaste. Everything here taste so refreshing and real. The Butter Brickle is yellow from the butter and the Brickle is in chunks so you can taste the toffee and everything. The Butter Pecan has REAL hugeeee Pecans in it. I truly recommend this place. If you’re looking for REAL ice cream I highly I mean highly recommend this place. It’s right off of the highway. It was around 15-17 bucks for a quartz of ice cream. They make sure that whatever size you get that it’s packed well. The guy I ordered from made sure that there were no air bubbles and packed the ice cream so well that we got our moneys worth. My grandma, me, and my mom cannot get enough of the ice cream here and we just moved here! The ice cream is sooooo rich and creamy. I don’t believe I’ll be buying ice cream from a retail store with this Bruster’s Ice cream store 15 minutes away from me. My grandma is incredibly happy and brags to her friends at home who are all over 60 about how good the ice cream is. I’m so glad I spend time searching around the area for butter Brickle ice cream for my grandma. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Truly. The glaze...
