If you think all Cici’s are the same, then go to this location and you’ll see a difference. Sure every Cici’s you go to, you’ll hear that familiar “Welcome to Cici’s!” when you enter, but then start looking at the little things, and this location is where it stands out.
Every time I’ve been here, salads/vegetables have always been full, and never a mess. Tongs are all standing up and aligned. I’ve seen this during busy and quiet times.
Even the scoops for the pasta sauces are placed the same - front right corner of the container.
Pizza spatulas are also in the same location, which is front center.
You have to give credit where it’s due, and the employees here do a great job on keeping the food area clean and presentable.
You will notice that employees here are different ages, from what looks like high schoolers to senior citizens. And the manager on duty this particular time could have been a recent high school graduate herself. I noticed it wasn’t just about delegating tasks, but she was busy filling salad dressing containers, doing tasks herself.
This is a very well run crew. I even saw someone cleaning every inch of chairs at a table. How often do you see that? It really looks like people at this location take great pride in their work.
If there is one thing that needs to be changed(it doesn’t really), maybe it’s one of the napkin containers being difficult to pull out napkins. That’s how good this place is, that the container is full and not empty, that it was a little tight.
I’ll definitely be back at this location, even if there’s one closer to...
Read moreFrom the moment I walked into the store the manager Carina greeted me with a smile and a lovely attitude. I honestly was astonished at how clean the restroom was and how energetic she was with me considering how long a day I know a manager like her must have everyday. People like her are the reasons why I still believe that buffets and fast food chains are still alive. It's not because of the prices or availability like the plethora of corporate meetings held have lead the fortune 500 companies to believe, it's because of all the "Carina's" that are working hard, sweating often times underpaid and understaffed and still making it happen whether it be quota for the month or keeping the customers in a state of euphoric bliss with a full stomach and smile on their face. She and her team are an exemplary example of perseverance and deserve not only a significant pay raise but an award or company gathering/picnic in that location's honor for store #56 on Mason Road in Katy, TX for being the face that made my day exponentially better that took me from feeling blue to making me feel like I was invited and welcomed into someone's home with open arms. She even offered me a job but I respectfully declined only because I'm an assistant manager at a dental office and I'm passionate about what I do for a...
Read moreI don't eat cicis but I came here on a whim since I was in the area, was hungry, and they were one of the few places open but they didn't really have any food ready to serve since customers are scarce but if you request a pizza or item they'll immediately make it on the spot while you wait a little at the table and eat your salad and everything was fresh and delicious. They do have to serve the food for you. You can't get it yourself but no big deal. This review will expire once they begin to always have food ready to serve that is an hour or more old so it won't taste as good but for the time being I'll enjoy it and the staff were very kind as well. That's why I didn't eat cicis anymore, the food was usually cold and old once I began to eat it but for now I'll go more often until they go back to the old way then stop going. Funny how that works, I want to eat at a restaurant more during a pandemic since the food tastes better when they have less...
