Tacos La Bala — Restaurant in Katy

I went to this location a while back and the kitchen staff were just mean mugging me because ai had to change the quesadillas to the small ones. After I paid and go back to the car my husband told me that my total was so high because of ordering the wrong size. I return to ask the cashier guy to please tell them to make the small ones instead and he kept saying that he cant because they already got started on my order. I insisted please change it because ai did not know that they were so big because the food was not for me. Well I can see the grill and the inly thing there was the big tortillas not the complete order. Finally until some other lady that might have been their manager spoke up and told him to hurry up and tell the kitchen ladies to not make that order did he finally get out of his daze and react to speak up and tell them something. I kean i was being polite and they can clearly hear me that i did not want that specific order. I apologized several time for their inconvenience and to him but they made such a deal about it about it and throwing the tortillas away so angry. The whole experience just made me so uncomfortable that i will not be going back. I spend money at Tacos La Bala regularly but at a different location and I will not be returning to that one again. They have absolutely have no notion of any customer...

Terrible job done by then today. Ordered food to go was told 10-15 minutes. Came to restaurant and it was mostly empty. Paid for my food and then realized another 20 minutes later other people who were coming in after me were leaving with there to go orders. Got back in line and asked why it had taken 45 minutes now to get a to go order ready. They looked and it was just sitting there cooling off on there cooling rack. No apology given then. Think its over nope got back to work with there bag of food we paid for and guess what. They messed up on our orders. Not the right amount of tacos and my steak burrito was made with Pollo. Called to get an explanation and guess what again, was told there's no manager on duty. No way 1st lie this person tells me is that there's no manager present. Person who answered then made zero attempt to fix there bad attempt at service and fix or remedy the wrong order we were given. I forced that person to take my name and info for a manager to call me when they arrive at work only just one hour later I was then told and they could get customer service right. Now 5 hours later still no call or remedy.Good luck with your to go order we will not be...

If you love tacos just trust me and come here for your taco fix. La Bala is a near “taco heaven” on earth. Top notch from taste to ticket totals. I never have left unhappy . I’ve only been comfortable, satisfied and that perfect kind of full. Legit, THE BEST TACOS OF MASON ROAD AND KATY TX! Hands down. I haven’t tried much of the menu besides my go to beef tacos but I doubt it’s anything but amazing. Oh! And key point here — PRICING - it’s inexpensive, and it’s excellent in quality. Definitely a win for taco lovers and that’s especially for this current economic climate. You want 20 FABULOUS tacos and not Spend your weeks wages ? This is your spot. NOTE: I’m very picky, I’m very hard to impress and I was in the service industry a long time ; I was a GOOD GOOD server and bartender long enough that I hold a high standard for any server I deal with. You could say that I am almost to a point of passionate about it and I give La Bala Five shining stars for it. I do take it VERY SERIOUSLY and here it’s excellent.
